@CheerBear Dropping off ☕️☕️☕️☕️ Hope you are doing ok ish after yesterday. No need to talk about it if it’s too hard. Sitting with you under the lemon tree, listening to birds, or watching a glorious sunrise. 🐦🐦🐦🌞🌞🌞🌈🌈🌈☀️☀️☀️💜💜💛💛🧡🧡🧡💙💙💚💚

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie. I'm smiling because I am using my laptop which is unusual, and those emojis look so different but really lovely on this screen rather than on my phone.

I'm OK after yesterday thanks. I crashed last night. I was so tired I curled up on an arm chair and didn't make it to a bed. It was cosy haha. I have anywhere from 1 -4 weeks ish to wait to hear about yesterday. I've organised for the plan to be sent to my support coordinator so he can support me through the outcome if it isn't any good. It helps to know I have that.

How are you doing this morning and how are you feeling after box packing? That's a big job in lost of ways.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear A big crash in a cosy armchair sounds nice.💕💕 Today is gig day, or has the Melbourne cup changed it this week? 🤔🤔🤔

I think you are wish having the plan sent to your support co ordination. Fingers crossed it’s what want from it. 🤞🤞🤞

I have a flat inspection this morning @CheerBear Third time lucky, or so they say. I’m not organised at all. Possibly the most disorganised ever. Boxes everywhere. I’ve got a bit/lot ahead of myself here, but 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Whatever.

Re: Taking the plunge

The yuck that is the cup has stopped it being a gig day today @Maggie. I have a double (in a way-ish) there next week which I'm excited about and will make up for it 🙂

The inspection super sucks 😞 I can imagine the lack of motivation you might be experiencing regarding it given everything that's happening there on top of your history with the inspection not happening.

Any idea how long it might be for some news re a house? Probably a silly question but thought I'd ask.

Re: Taking the plunge

😂😂😂 Yuk that is the cup @CheerBear .

Does it mean a busy day with LF, or do you have some down time today?

Yea, the inspection sucks, my flat is clean, but boxes everywhere. It’s a tiny flat, so you can imagine the squeeze. 😁😁😁

I’m optimistically hoping to hear something this week from Housing @CheerBear. But no guarantees there. I will only get 48 hrs to view and decide, so once something happens, it will be fast.

I can’t do all the packing in a day or so because of pain levels. I have to pace it, or rather, it paces me. So, that’s why I’m on to it sooner, rather than later. All mixed up feelings regarding moving. Exciting and scary. Change is difficult, or it is for me.

Re: Taking the plunge

So tempted to head to the track and join in protests @Maggie (but know it's not a good idea). The supermarket will be nice and quiet this is afternoon though which is one yay for the day 😆😁

Today we'll head home and get ready for the week ahead. Quiet and slow here 👍

I wish I could come and help you pack. It's hard to think of someone with the pain you have doing all of that boxing up of stuff.

48 hours isn't much time. When we were in mega housing pickle it was the same kind of thing with houses. Nothing for ages then everything at once. It's a big scramble.

Lots of feels with this whole situation for you. Change is difficult for lots of us. Sometimes it feels like better the devil you know and I think that can be really big for many of us who have been dealt some really tough hands. I'm really hoping this is a good change for you, as I think it seems you believe it will be. Everything crossed you have news soon. How will you find out? Will it be a call from counsellor?

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I’d be in the protest stuff too. I’ve signed a few things online. I’ve been shocked by the treatment towards animals that’s been revealed, shocked is being very polite. 😖😖🤬🤬

Yey for quiet supermarkets, then quiet trip home. I guess it was a stretch looking for the lemon tree this morning then. 😩😩😂😂☕️☕️☕️

Ive struggled with ‘ the devil you know ‘ and I guess it’s never been a choice because of expenses here. The other stuff has just happened, so much for safe environment. I hope the next move is my last. I can’t do this anymore

You are kind, wishing you could help me pack. I’m fiercely independent. It’s come from never having anyone dependable all my life. I’ve always had to do it myself regardless of pain, mental or physical. I have a strong feeling you get that, and I’m sorry you do. 💜💜💜

Morning @Former-Member ☕️☕️☕️💕💕💕 Hows brekky looking? Any eggs? How’s your day ahead looking?

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @Maggie @CheerBear @eth

Too early to prep brekky here yet. Hubby not an early riser. But yes, it will be eggs today .. french toast. Followed by a Dr apt for hubby, meaning a trip into town this morning. It has just started to rain here. A tiny light drizzle. Hope it develops into something more than that. The rain many other parts of NSW got in last two days did not reach here. Sadly the fire affected areas here missed out. Oh well, our turn will come. Other than hubbys Dr apt this morning, I have to get our car in for a service this arvo. May get a chance for another go at my Marilyn DP. Intended to yday, but other things intervened.

Have a good day all.

Sherry 😀
