Incredible sounds of birds here at house 2 this morning. Absolute joy sounds coming from the bush ❤ That's a beaufiul rose. Is this a pic of yours?
How are you doing this morning?

Woohoo @CheerBear sleepi in, yes. I hope it’s a long one.
I can imagine the beautiful bush sounds @CheerBear . I have blackbirds and sparrows. 💜💜
Definately not one of my roses. A rare Pinterest rose pic. I’ve been visiting this morning.
I’m doing ok so far this morning @CheerBear. A cool day here also after a very hot one yesterday. Complaining already about the heat. 👍👍👍
Any plans for your day today? A lazy one might be good.

Re: Taking the plunge
I thought that rose looked pretty incredible! It reminded me that the big rose garden at house 1 should be colourful soon/now. I'll try and remember that and take myself off for a walk next week.
Glad you're doing OK so far. The heat really can knock us around 😏
I'll probably head home today as we'll be here tomorrow night again so the crew can be looked after for my NDIS meeting on Monday. Looking at the weather and thinking I'll try and time that in between breaks in the rain as it's supposed to be pretty heavy and I don't like driving along highways in that kind of weather if I don't have to. Probably pretty lazy day 🙂
How about you? How's your day looking?

I can hear the bush sounds in my head @CheerBear and the wet bush smells. Refreshing. 💜We are forecast for rain today also, and by the look of the sky, it’s not far away.☔️☔️☔️☔️
Do you need to do any more prep for Monday’s meeting? Gee, lots of paperwork involved. The lady that came here had a folder. I though we were going to be in that meeting forever. 😩😩 I/we will be thinking of you, sending positive vibes, hoping the outcome is what you want/need.
This morning is a lazy one for me. Not even a tree visit today.
This afternoon I have my painting neighbour from 2-4. Tomorrow I have a new student. Another 86 yr old. It’s taken her a while to get confident enough to give it a go. These two are BFFs, so I’m hoping when I leave, they will get together and pass on the bug.
Drive carefully today @CheerBear .

Re: Taking the plunge
I could prepare that 'victim impact statement' kind of thing (I shudder at that word/words) for Monday but I'm still unsure whether it's worth the risk. Aside from that, it's just stay together until it's over. I have some nice distractions (8 bit dragon, crosswords etc) on top of the usual stuff with kids and parents which will help. I find long meetings super hard and a folder would have felt very ugh.
Lazy sounds needed for you, especially after the big stuff this week. You must have a lot of patience to paint with people as you do. BFFs enjoying something together. Nice to think you've played/about to play a big part in that 😊❤

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I understand the victim impact statement, all the triggers that might be attached , the risks. And needing a positive outcome for you and LF. They seem to have no idea of how deep all this stuff goes. How painful it is. Big feels for you there. 💕💕
Yes, distractions of any kind. I do mahjong, till my eyes are dropping out. Lol. 👀
I’ve had my moments with my painting neighbour. I had to put my ideas aside and let her ‘play’. She’s not into mandala, not organisation. Just colours and dots. She’s yellow/orange happy personality, sanguine I’m guessing. I’m blue/purple moody colours, melancholic, and organised. The other lady will be more organised and mandala style, so easier for me. I admit to pushing myself out that door, every single week.

Re: Taking the plunge
Very tricky to be a purple person next to a yellow one at times and I imagine mandala and dots that need focus, organised, slow etc could be frustrating and some. Impressive to get out the door when it requires pushing. That's 💪❤
I think I might pull out my yarn and hook now. Slow morning. Great time to get some done ☕🙂

Good morning ladies @Maggie @CheerBear . I come bearing coffee refills for you both, and a big pot of tea for me. Also a platter of .. Choc chip banana bread toasted and buttered, raisin toast, or sourdough toast and selection of spreads. Including my homemade marmalade, and good old vegemite of course. Please help yourselves.
Regarding your budding artists Maggie, sounds like Im more like the second lady .. organised. And colours more like yours, blues, purples, mauves.
Love all that birdsong @CheerBear
Sherry 😀
