Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Sorry little ( might ) be unwell. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞
Your boots put a smile on my face @CheerBear and by the sound of the conversation last night, a few others also.
Tossing up in my head weather to withdraw my food money here again. It’s been an on going issue here. I don’t like confrontation, and keep say, I’ll be out of here soon. Unfortunately, soon isn’t happening, and paying for food the birds eat, which I can’t afford, isn’t right either. 🤔🤔

Re: Taking the plunge
Do you talk about getting out with the others? Are there others there who want out too?
How was your yesterday?
All the questions sorry. No need to answer if you're not up to it.

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Yes there are a few others who would like to escape with me. Unfortunately, easier said than done. When did changing an address become this difficult. 🤔🤔
Yesterday was ok thanks. Walked dogs with kind of friend, listened to her woes. She does have things to complain about though. She’s been a Carer for 25 years to someone, I consider, to be very difficult. Careers don’t get support, just worn out. That’s one of the big areas I really feel for her in. But in saying that, she’s difficult herself. Narcissistic personality plus. She’s learnt to survive as we all do, in our own way.

You're a great listener and your kind of friend is lucky to have you. Caring for someone who is difficult for that long would take a toll. Tricky to listen though when there are some things that make it difficult to be around her. I really like the way you said that at the end. Our means of survival deserves to be looked at that way I think, though its ok if it isn't ok for you to be around it (that makes so much more sense in my head!).
Would you stay in touch with kind of friend if/when you get out?

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Kind of friend isn’t going to let me get away. 😁😁😁 Everyone avoids her really. She’s loud, aggressive and we are so opposites. That can be funny in a not so funny way too though. Sometimes I don’t know who I feel for more, her, those she flattens on her way, or me, trying to figure out what just happened. Hyper alert always, but I’m there anyway, why not make use of it, the hyper alert thing. But every now and then, I see a vulnerable tiny part of her. I feel for her mostly, but at times I want to walk as far away as I can and never look back. But like all of us, it’s not all of her. There more, just well hidden. We are complicated human beings.
Any news of little yet, and what today has ahead for you.?

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks @CheerBear 🙏 .... it’s been a surprisingly quiet turn of events. Very different from what might have been a few years ago .... because he is letting me go .... and the kids are far more stable in their own minds, and spaces. It still won’t be a walk in the park, but probably as okayish as it possibly could be.
I think this will increase everybody’s wellness .... or “wellness” as the ed still exists despite any changes in other dynamics.
👋💐💕 @Maggie .... hearing along with you too.
And yeah, I have often reached for a frowny-hug emoji that is not there .....

@Faith-and-Hope I’ve been typing your name in but not getting a tag, so I was pleased to see your response so I could tag you to let you know I’m hearing you also. Tough stuff, it seems what life is made of for many of us. Always remember, if you can, your value. 💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge
I had an bananas experience yesterday with someone very loud and tough. The meeting with school parent. They came in guns blazing which was so unnecessary but it made interesting. I expected it might be tricky but this was next level and it took everything I had in me to not fight fire with fire. I seriously had to dig into some kind of dusty interpersonal and dispute resolution skills to get through it. It was funny but not funny at all and required a debrief afterwards and a putring out fire kind of thing. Hearing about your kind of friend made me think of it. Cool experience but not one I'll be putting my hand up for again in a hurry!
Little just woke up as a bundle of energy saying they feel a lot better. It may have been the best that crashed them yesterday. It means I'm off to my gig today, questioning how up for it I am but knowing deep inside the answer is that I'm ok to do it.
I better run. So nice to catch you again. And seriously huge smile at your boot coffee mug share. Best 😁😊❤
Ps - just caught your posts @Faith-and-Hope. Big time tough times and stuff for you. Wondering what "letting me go" feels like for you. That sounds heart hurty 🙁 More hugs ❤
