Re: Taking the plunge
It's super early, even for us I think. I'm guessing that means a tough night for you maybe. I'm so sorry about yesterday. I felt the big inside thump when I read about it and can only imagine what that felt like for you. It's not right or fair in any way 😔 I feel the bigness with you.
How are you going this morning, after such a smash thing? That might be a silly question but I'm interested if you're up for sharing

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear My frying pan had wings last night, and landed at the front door faster than anything here atm. 😩😩😩
Emotions are everywhere, and not sure what I’m actually feeling in reality, if there is such a thing.
Sad facts in all of this are, if I had money, non of this would be happening. If I wasn’t paying such high rent, I could afford to see a RA specialist. So it’s all back to housing.
I was responsible facing my financial situation in December. I’m not asking for a hand out, or a leg up.
Ive lost faith in my gp. I don’t know who to believe anymore.
Thankyou for feeling the bigness with me. 💜💕💜☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
What are your plans today.?
Morning @Former-Member . Hope you are doing ok ish. Sending thoughts and ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge
It's so understandable, all of your feelings and thoughts above @Maggie. I hate that housing is so expensive it is impacting your ability to access adequate health care 🙁 It's such a broken situation and three years is shocking. i was wondering whether this might hit the faith you have in your GP. It would for me too. Do you think she might be able to at least try to fix this?
No wonder trust is hard when things like this happen on top of everything else.
My plans are more cleaning today. Haircut this morning (yay) and an appt with school social worker this afternoon (not so yay) too. I got a bit done yesterday, including working out how to clear out without a skip so I can get my boots 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I saw boots, and went yeeeeeeeeeeeeees! 🙃🙃🙃👍👍👍
Hair cut always feels better, only if it’s a good one though. 😩😩 I’ve had a few shockers.
Hope the SW meet is ok ish.
Dont know about GP. Looking at it from her point of view might go something like this. Cancer patients, heart and all the big stuff is top of the category. Yes I understand. My life is not at risk, though it very much was yesterday, but others conditions are more pressing. The specialist does all the medical stuff at the hospital, so categorically, I’m on the bottom. Severe pain doesn’t really register as urgent. Sad facts of life.
I’m on the verge of losing it, so need to keep a low profile. MI issues on top of all this, not a good mix. I have ridiculous images in my mind of picketing outside housing, but that could land me with very cheap accommodation and no freedom. 😁😁😁👍👍👍
Back to the boots. 😁😁😁😁 Nice thoughts. 💜💜💕💕
Topup. ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Totally top up 🙂👍 Sparkle boots are a thing 😁 It's going to happen and I'll think of you when it does, wishing I could send some your way too.
How are you planning on spending the day today? Cave day?

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Very much yes to mental health/physical health bouncing off each other, taking things to the next level in a flash. Unfortunately, the seen gets dealt with, not the unseen.
All the crap about mental health progress, only if you are wealthy, royals or celebrities. The rest of us are still sucking it up big time, silently, agonising.
Sparkly boots gives me a huge smile. Will it happen today, or is there a waiting time.?
I had a cat sitting outside my back door this morning. 😁😁 Not sure if he’s wild, or belongs to another resident or neighbour? Gave me a smile though. A call to the wild. Animals are so in tune. I’m always at ease around them. They are genuine and care deeply. No guessing just accepted.
Still adjusting to daylight saving. 🙃🙃

Re: Taking the plunge
I think the unseen-ness of things plays into my fireball @Maggie and having a mouth that needs tight control. I can be a squeaky wheel which I'm sure is annoying and isn't always helpful, but if I am not going to be seen I can try and make myself be listened to. Massive effort and big risks in that it however. It :pile_of_poo:s me ( @Teej I'm borrowing the way you use this emoji - love it 😁) so badly that I have to resort to that 😑 Grrr. So much grrr with it all. My fix-it brain wants to help but I'll sit with it with you
I love that you had a cat visitor this morning. They're awesome ones (except in our house when they stir all of mine up when they visit outside!). Animals have an incredible way about them and I too feel at ease around them (except around Rocket cat who has everyone jumping around her, dodging to get out of the way of her antics 😆).
Sparkle feet is going to be a bit of an effort. I want to see them in person to decide which colour to get and to double check the size as they're UK sizing and what is written on my current boots has faded so I'm not certain what the number is. I think I'll make a trip in to the city to get them, which is huge for me. I'm planning on doing that on the morning of the inspection as the inspection isn't until the afternoon and I have nothing on that day until then. They're on sale online though and I have a feeling they'll sell out so I'll call them to see if they can hold a pair for me and if not I'll push send on the order and cross my fingers (they have a very decent returns policy). Too much thinking for one pair of shoes, but I think you understand how much thought is required when it comes to buying these things (the money is very much but they last a long, long time).
We are still adjusting to the clocks too. The kids are feeling it with the double blow of school going back this week too. They have all had moments of pretty full on this week.
I better run and do the lunch thing. I'm over school lunches again already! I'll also have an extra few here to take to school this morning which I've just remembered. Really better get my butt up and moving.
Sending you so much ❤ Maggie. I really hope there's some peace in your day. And if there's not, I hope flying fry pans feel okay (which they can).

Good Morning @CheerBear @Maggie @Zoe7 @Former-Member @Shaz51 @outlander
Hope you are all okay today and have a good day. ![]()
I might be quiet and in the background for a while, unhappy with how someone has been treated here on the forum.

Re: Taking the plunge
Sorry to hear you're feeling unhappy here. It's tricky when at times. It might worth emailing the team (team@SANEforums.org) if something is going on here that's making you unhappy. Hopefully whatever it is is sorted soon.
My morning has taken a very annoying turn with the hot water system dying this morning. The house is upside down as I've been cleaning so it's not at all okay for a very scary home owner to come around to dodgily play with the gas, probably not fixing it and stuffing me around in the porcess until he calls for a plumber. Anything to do with him sends my anxiety skyrocketing. (It's all power, control and money @Maggie). So much ugh :face_with_rolling_eyes:😑 Now to rethink my plans and race around trying to get it back to semi-okayness so I can let the real estate know.
