Re: Taking the plunge

We have wonky weather happening here at the moment and it's tricky @outlander :face_with_rolling_eyes:

I can see how that trip would add up when you're doing a lot of to-ing and fro-ing. I smiled at your Little with the tea parties. We still have tea parties happening here every now and then. Lots of water and cardboard. Yay for kids 😉😑😆 Slime is still very much a thing for my scientists. After having a slime ban when the entire dining room was covered with glue, instant snow, baby oil, water etc, they're at least a lot better at tidying up and semi containing the mess. This was yesterday's creation. Rainbow slime in prepararion for avalanche slime (I shuddered at sound of the "avalanche" part of that haha!).

I really hope the next 5 days are okay enough for you. It's a tough time but you're getting there ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

the tricky weather makes for tricky days with littlies around and trying to find things to do when its to hot or raining. need like perfect weather for school holiday times hey. pity it didn't work like that lol.

avalanche 😬😬😬 good luck with that one! will wait for your pic to pop up. at least they are getting better at cleaning up or at least containing the mess. slime seems to be abit like glitter, constantly being found even though the majority of the mess is gone.

yeah our teaparties often involve water and paper or something else mushed into there. they are amused and generally quiet (which also often means they are up to something 😆) @CheerBear

Re: Taking the plunge

I'm impressed your big sister still plays tea parties @outlander 😁 I always worry when Middle and Little are together and quiet. It's never a good thing and it's been like that since Little was tiny. Some of the things they've managed to get up to!

Do you have any kind of gaming console? We pull ours out on holidays and play a bit 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge

Not big sister @CheerBear wish i had one of those
Just 2 younger ones. 🙂 but i was half asleep when i was typing so im surprised my posts even made sense lol. But middle and little do get along sometimes 😏 Little sometimes cons middle into playing schools lol.

Nah we dont have any gaming consoles. They tend to amuse themselves being outdoors or watching movies, doing there own thing.

Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry that was me that didn't made that confusing @outlander. I know you have two younger sisters but from memory your middle is mid teens which is what I meant by 'big'. I should have probably said 'bigger' 🙂

Hope it's going OK for you today ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

All good @CheerBear 😊
Im on a cleaning mission. Mums bf decided to take little to the movies now and middle is going in another hour ive had her helping me do some. Have to scrub the cupboards and stuff down from pest controller. Plus ive been buying stuff since xmas last year to upgrade cuterly dining sets etc along with new towels and sheets etc to just make the house look liveable. Everythings so old and outdated here so found buying one or 2 items when i went to kmart or something has added up and think nows a good time. When i come back from op itll be a nice change to come back home to and with pop being away i get to enjoy it in peace for afew days 😁

Re: Taking the plunge

Cleaning missions can be kind of fun @outlander. I have a house inspection in 2 weeks and will be doing some of them in that time.

Sounds like a great idea witj the nice changes and to be able to come home to and enjoy it on your own for few days. What a great something to look forward to 😊
