Morning @Former-Member 🙂☀️ Always smile seeing you around. How are you going this morning (if you feel like sharing)?

Re: Taking the plunge

Ha Ha @CheerBear I’ve been very close to chopping it up, many times. I’m enjoying the challenge, you don’t really know where the stitches will take you. I like that you can put it down in the middle of a row. As I really never saw myself doing anything like this, super proud, even though I need to work on tension with stitches.

Yes it was hot yesterday, looking good today.

Heading out this afternoon with kind of friend to get bits and pieces. I like getting away from here. There are people sitting very close to my lounge. It’s an area where smokers gather to chat all day long, about 2 meters away. One of the reasons I don’t use my lounge room, but it’s also too dark to do crafts there. It’s also the path out. All way over the top for my hibernation escapes. 😁😁

Are you heading to home 2 today? Any weekend plans?

Its the last week of school holidays, so I guess extra busy, and maybe, looking forward to it, or not. 🥺🥺

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @CheerBear @Maggie

Long story @CheerBear so I wont go into it now. Maggie has read about it from last night.

Not that great @CheerBear lack of sleep playing havoc. Not helped by another email for past indescretion here. 😕 Dunno how I get so much wrong?

@Maggie I had my break on Monday when I had my piece of good fortune with my tipsters win in a national competition. 😀 Seems luck does not come in threes, but misfortune does.

Maggie I saw your crochet progress .. yours too Cheerbear .. Lovely work. Glad you had a nice drive in the country Maggie. I love water too.

Re: Taking the plunge

So much yay with your crochet @Maggie. I remember feeling proud as I wouldn't have imagined being able to do anything like it too, yet it happened. You learn and practice so much while making it, and not only learning and practicing crochet stuff but life stuff I think. Hearing about yours starting had me revisit the story of mine that I wrote and shared ages ago. It was very cool to look back on and made me feel excited for you as I have a feeling you'll get lots out of this journey you're on 😊

Oh that doesn't sound fun with people so close. I hope getting out is good for you. Bit of a catch 22 there though maybe.

We are all back at home 1 now and will be here until next weekend. It feels settled and I realised how much I missed having my little family of 4 plus 3 under the one roof. It's been good to be away but great to come back. Weekend plans are kind of fun. Big is off to a sleepover and to do kind of grown up stuff (going to the waterfront and out on their own with friends). Middle is off to a sleepover with someone they absolutely adore and don't see often. I'll do something fun with Little. Arcade or movies maybe. The rest will be spending time here. I bought a new family Nintendo game which is ridiculously fun and we all enjoyed. We have bikes that need riding etc. and then time will be getting ready for term 4 🙂 I survived school holidays again 🎉😆

Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry things are hard @Former-Member. I often think of you but seem to miss some of what goes on. Wonky sleep is not helpful 🙁 Also sorry you're feeling like you get so much wrong and that it sounds like it's been triggered from an email. I have read you sharing some of your past experiences that play into that for you. It sucks heaps. Glad you're here Sherry. ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I did catch your news about your flutter and winnings. Too bad it doesn’t come in threes though.

You are sounding down, and why wouldn’t you. I wish I could help, but all I can do is feel with you. I certainly don’t see you getting it wrong at all. 💜💕💜

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Sounds nice and cosy 4+3. Stability is so important for everyone I think.

Big and middle off to sleep overs, they are growing up fast. You sound like you have so much fun, mixed with the not fun stuff. Bikes, Nintendo’s ridiculous fun stuff. You are an awesome mum.

Yes catch 22.

I’m off to the shower and local tree with grass police. 😁😁😁

Enjoy your day. Thanks for the coffee. @CheerBear @Former-Member
