Re: Taking the plunge
@Zoe7 I hope day 1 of garage clean up went according to plans. If your weather is the same as our part of the state, looking good for day 2.
I have no doubt manager Toby is keeping a close eye on things, and you in line. 😁😁
Take care today. 💕💕
@Gazza75 Sending kind thoughts your way today. The long weekend is getting closer, which means a break for you.
Mumi thinking of you. 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge
@Maggie thank you for the bringing the crew. That picture made me smile so much 😊
I have a feeling results will be OK today and so does unwell person. Preparing either way though and bracing myself for big tension until we get there. Time for me to get moving and to rid this car of the country. Hope there is something that helps with the post hard day feelings Maggie. Thank you for the chat and cuppas ❤
❤ to all for the day ahead.

Re: Taking the plunge
Day 1 of garage cleanup was hijacked by other things happening around me @Maggie ...wrote about it here so won't go through it all again and you can read if you like.
I have gotten up and started this morning. The tarp is spread and and pegged in the backyard and I have begun to move things out onto it. I am dividing the area into sections so when I bring things out like things can be grouped together. Then I will sort each section separately on the free area on the tarp. I have already tipped all the water out of the trailer and need to drill a hole in the corner so when it rains it can drain out. Then things that need to go to the tip can be thrown straight on the trailer. There are some big things I did with the kids that I have been holding onto - a large papier mache panda being one of them - but it is damaged and I am now going to throw it out rather than repair it. It will be a shame to thrown it away but I can't see me repairing it and there really is nowhere I could keep it so it wouldn't get damaged again.
Toby has of course been supervising - it was great fun for him running oer the tarp while I was trying to lay it. He tried to flattened it out for me jumping all over it lol
A really big job is underway - and a bit daunting at the moment - but I will do a bit at a time, rest and then get stuck into it again. Trying very much not to get overwhelmed by it this morning but instead look forward to how good it will be when it is done.
Will keep you updated as I go when I can. ![]()

@Maggiethank you for your thoughts 💕 @outlander love that pic, thanks 💗
Good and not good news as far as results today. Well and unwell people already knew the not good news a while ago whereas somewhere along the way I missed it so it caught me by surprise in the appointment today. Lots of wonky feels in it all.
I had a really hard day though it was only on stopping that I felt how hard it actually was. I spent the day caught in the middle of extreme tension between well and unwell ones. It's the kind of tension that caused me big issues growing up and the stuff I couldn't wait to get away from so I left home as soon as I could. There are times around my people when I feel like an ally with one and shoulder for the other, and I don't know what to do. Today I sat in the middle of them wondering which way to turn, not wanting to side with either but wanting to be on each one's side. When we returned to our second home my own little crew fired off all kinds of feelings at me and it all caught up with me (again). I walked away and turned into a melted mess. Straw and camel stuff I think.
It was fixed up eventually but I left on my own needing a long drive with loud music and some space and fresh air. I have organised for the crew to come home tomorrow. In a way I think tonight might have helped by reminding little and big people that I have an "enough" point. I have not long arrived back at our home and will head to bed soon enough, trusting once again that some sleep will help 🤞. I'm wrecked physically and emotionally tonight.
I might catch you in the morning though I'm kind of hoping for an amazing night's sleep where I stay bed and miss hearing the birds wake up for a change. I'll leave this ☕ here just in case some kind of magic happens tonight.
Sorry for the vent. Things feel pretty sucky right now. Reminding myself right now isn't forever.
I hope today has had some good in it for you (all) ❤
