Re: Taking the plunge

Big sigh with all of the above. Sounds heavy @Maggie 🙁

My tossy turny is nightmares then waking with lots of shoulds and guilty feelings, coupled with big sad ones. Pretty usual for me but tiring and tricky. I think I'm getting a cold/sinus thing too which is nothing but I really don't need right now. Was hit by the house inspection bus too. Happy days 😑:face_with_rolling_eyes:

Not sure about today here yet. Cats need feeding at home 1 so I'll go there but I'm yet to work out whether it will be with all the crew for a night or just as a round trip today.

How about your day? How was painting yesterday?

I like heloful 😁 It's like my "eith" instead of "with". That one comes out on my phone keyboard lots haha

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Lots going on for you. I find nights can be worse for some strange reason. The repeat/ fast forward buttons get over used. Cold /sinus is draining, definitely not nothing. But I guess on the scale, it can feel like that. Oh no, the house inspection bus, I hate those, but my last two didn’t happen, but all the preparations did.

Must be hard living in two places at once, keeping fur friends fed and comfortable, as well as everyone else. Huge expectations/ needs. Where do you fit in. 💕💜💕

My painting lady didn’t turn up yesterday. No mention of not coming. I’m annoyed, as I made a huge effort. I know she doesn’t know that, but she could have said something. Oh well, such is life.

I was met by the kind of caretaker yesterday morning with three broken rules. 😩😩😩😩 Someone had walked through the dining room with dirty laundry, I didn’t need to know that. But I broke the next two. My dog was not on a lead.......she never has been......I walked on the grass.......I’ll do it again today. 😁😁😁✔️✔️

Re: Taking the plunge

Nights suck often @Maggie. I think it's the stillness and the quiet. It all catches up with me at night and in the tiny hours. The house inspection is extra annoying this time after being in two places so often. It's meant I have an ignored yard and a jumbled up house. Right now it feels like another thing stepping on my chest. Small things tip me over and I'm always scared of tipping over. I don't think I really have to fear it as I don't tip often, but history haunts me a bit with that one.

Oh no with the no show 🙁 That would be super annoying, especially with how much it takes to prepare for something like that. Ugh.

I had a big giggle at "I'll do it again today". I love that Maggie. It's resisting over the top control 💪😁

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Yes, the stillness outside, restless inside night feelings.

Big feels with the stepping on your chest feelings, and the not tipping over, but scared also. I don’t tip over externally, but internally.......yes, big cave ins there. Not that anyone would pick up on, but it’s the after affects of pressure. For me, small things take huge amounts of energy. Most don’t have to think about it, they do it naturally. I scrub up well, sometimes, wish I didn’t, but honestly don’t know how not to. It’s not a ....keeping up appearances.....thing, more like survival. It’s a fast and at times, cruel world.

Yes the over the top control. The manager told me I can pick flowers for pressing, kind of caretaker says NO. So I pick anyway. I’m over it all now. His problem, not mine.

Will you have time to do any crochet today.? I’m heading for another. ☕️☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

I hear you with survival @Maggie 🙁 I know it can help to not scrub up in front of others and I know it's encouraged (I encourage it) but I also get that sometimes/often scrub up = survive and whatever we need to do to survive is right. Lots of respect for that 💜 I find it helpful to let a bit out here and I have a couple of trusted professional people who see it. That helps too.

Super ugh to control 😑 I hope you enjoy the grass and furbaby enjoys a lead free wander 😉😆🙂

I'll get some yarn in today. I might try and sneak some in this morning while everyone is slowly waking. Maybe I have to stop thinking about the colours to come and just pick up what feels right each round. Practice dropping my over the top planning and preparation (for everything including craft projects lol) 😏

Hope you have some good in your day ❤☕

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi again @CheerBear @Maggie .... 🤗🤗

Thanks so much for all the 💜💜💜☕️☕️☕️🌻🌻🌻

and here is some back for both of you .... 🌻🌻🌻💜💜💜☕️☕️☕️ 💕

Yes, in the still and calm of the wee hours my mind starts to unpack the things I need to work on. It sort of sets out a picnic blanket .... lol.

I have to start working out how to ground our drama cycles better than I have been .... and work out how/why I keep feeling shocked every time a new hit-by-a-bus situation arises ..... and thinking we can get through occasions and events without them ?!

It’s tossy and turny, but I think productive anyway.

Need to get up and go find coffee .....

Hearing you both, and feeling lots for you ❣️
