Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Everything crossed for you here. 🤞🤞🤞Always hard trying to advance think things. I do hope you get to your gig, as it’s a break from big responsibilities for a little while. It wasn’t a vent by the way @CheerBear 😘😘

No inspection yesterday, not even a mention or apology. 🤬🤬🤬😤😤 The rest of the day was ok though. Yes app. This afternoon and hoping.🤪🤪 A frosty start here, but I’m looking at out of control bushfires in Queensland 😩😩 Hope you are ok @Former-Member I think you are in the area. 💕💜💕☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

Thank you for listening @Maggie 💗 It's definitely one of those mornings here this morning. Nothing going right and everything feeling bananas (this is my stop for a breather) 😑 I'm going to go in to my gig and hope to find my calm on the way. If it comes to it and I need to I can do different tasks that are less brain and heart power but are still helpful. Little is better-ish.

Super annoying about the inspection and seriously inconsiderate. Glad it was OK for the rest of the day. Thinking of you with your appointment.

Hi @Former-Member and @Gazza75 under that support button. ❤ @Former-Member. Hope it's a one with good for all 👋

@CheerBear Pleased to read you are going to your gig. Once the kids are off to school, bananas might quiet a little. Will be thinking of you, hoping the gig has pleasant moments, or longer. 💜💕💜☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Just another day at work for Me. Need to get something done though as yesterday I had system troubles.

I did get a new delivery of craft goodies yesterday which I am pretty stoked about.

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @CheerBear @Maggie @Gazza75 @outlander.

CheerBear - Good to hear you have decided to go to the Gig after all. Hope it goes well and no calls from school.

Maggie - I totally agree with CB in that it is highly inconsiderate of your inspection people to not notify you of whats happening re your home inspection. Although I expect they figure that by saying they will be in that they get the desired result anyway, ie a clean and tidy home. And clearly they have not had any issues with you before. No excuse for lack of consideration however. Ahhh, you have the frosts back again then. Same at my Dads place, frosts for the rest of this week he tells me. Not so here, warmish nights, but cold winds here. Possible showers, but doubtful they will arrive, mores the pity. The fires in QLD are awful, just saw it on the morning news. And the weather conditions are not conducive to bringing existing fires under control. My thoughts are with those in the front line, both fighters and residents.

Gazza - Yes thankyou, I am safe. And have my second hot cup of tea in my hands right now. I hope your work day is more productive today, with the system issues all sorted. Ha ha, I love your enthusiasm about your crafts. In fact I have been doing some research about diamond painting, after hearing you talk of it and seeing some of your finished results on the craft thread. I am thinking I may give it a go sometime. Spotlight I think you mentioned? We have one in the next town, so maybe I will try to check it out next time I need to be there. Perhaps I can become as enthused about it as you? That would be nice. I did some sketching and painting a year or two ago, but with so much happening in the last 2 years I've done nothing now in over 12 months. Pity because, I would become totally engrossed in my art. I think I need that again, and just maybe diamond painting could be the thing.

Outlander - Any news re your loan? I hope you're okay sweetie. Sorry I havent been on your thread much lately. As you know I've been a bit quiet. Hope that loan comes through soon, one less thing to worry about. And will mean you can continue to make the rest of your plans, knowing its all possible with funding approved.

@Former-Member - I know you are not doing well. My thoughts are with you.

Well, a busy day here today. Hubby has a special scan he needs to have prior to another specialist apt in a couple of weeks. So its an hours drive to the next big town to get it done at the regional hospital there. Need to head off within the hour. So better go wake hubby up to get himself showered and ready. Given the time of the scan, we will likely have lunch somewhere down there, so that will be nice.

Have a good day all.

Sherry 💕

@Former-Member All the best with hubbys scan and specialist app. today. Any chance of picking up a diamond painting while you are out and about???

Must go and rescue my washing.....couldn’t get a machine yesterday.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Former-Member , it's lovely to hear from you.

I hope your hubbys scans go alright and that you have a nice lunch in town today.

I'm still having system issues, but, I'm not that worried, my workload is fairly light on this month so its no big deal.

It sounds good that you have done some research on diamond painting. Not sure if you saw the youtube link i posted for Faith and Hope, i found that one very useful. Spotlight has quite a few kits although they are a little expensive, they are quite good quality. I'd suggest starting with the bee or a fairly small one just to get a feel for how to do it. I'm still using my pen and tray from the first kit as I found it to be better than the more expensive ones. It has a 'grip' that makes the pen more comfortable.

It might be worth giving it a try or even going back to sketching and painting. I would do that if I could, but, i've never been very artistic.

I will eventually try and do some more dotting like Maggie and Cheerbear.

Drive carefully and have a good day 🙂
