Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Was that a pic of a pansy in your garden, it's beautiful. I would love to go to a concert like that, I can just imagine the dancing in the aisles, smiles and tears. I love stringed music, all music, but stringed in particular, takes me to another place, a beautiful place.

I can just see the charming hubby in hospital. My ex was charming to the outside world also, not inside though, Humm don't miss those days, they had a particular kind of loneliness.

Holly is quite a little hunter isn't she, my girl just looks with a blank expression all over her face, she's funny really.

We planted some foxgloves and hollyhocks last week. Now back to the watching for any flower to appear, it's going to take time!!!

Did the big storm hit? On tv it looked like a wide area was in for some very bad weather. The rain is always welcome in most areas. We had a hail shower on Saturday.

Hope you have a goodish day. Take care of yourself. 💛💛💛

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I'm hoping you had a good sleep in your own bed, might be still sleeping, I hope so.

D might be feeling quite scared by all that's happening atm and you are the only one close enough to take it out on. Hoping things will settle now you are both home.

I just have to do something about housework today, can't put it off any longer. Thinking about it atm, hope I get further than that.

Sending a warm hug @Former-Member hoping for a better day for you and D. Looking forward to hearing from you.💜💜💜

Had coffee and toast and going back to sleep woke too early. No school today.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member @Maggie

I am very hurt by my sister's behaviour and her controlling influence over mum...

we are fraternal twins...have always had an extremely close bond...even though she is very black and white...I am very grey...probably not even grey...a colour unknown to others..

I have some very sad memories of christmas over the years.....

I have written on another thread I have on the carer's side about my OS and have support there....needing to release so much pain and hurt...I don't want to add my more pain for all of you on this thread..

There are times where we feel that we are unable to take any more pain...any new pain....

to counteract this I withdraw.....

I want to keep in touch with you all on here though...you all have far too much pain of your own...

I might not be able to respond individually or specifically...I will try my hardest to let you know that I am still listening and here for you...even though I might not be visible.

Re: Taking the plunge

You aren't and wouldn't be a burden at all @Former-Member
More than happy to be here for you, if you like.
It gets my mind off myself.
Please don't hesitate to vent here if you feel like you want to. But I understand if you prefer to on the carers side .

I understand totally about hurtful families etc. I no longer have contact with any of them (occasionally my mother), but it's always a painful triggering phone call, which I do my best to avoid. I understand about hurtful Christmases too. I haven't joined family for Christmas for years. It's difficult being alone at Christmas, but definitely better than being with a bunch of fake hurtful family. I don't like to call them family, they don't deserve it.
Not meaning to make this message all about me, but letting you know, I understand and am here if you need me.
Take care and do what's right for you,@mohill
Please never feel you have to reply to my messages. You need to take care of yourself.
Sending love to you. 💜💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Thank you @Maggie@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope for your very warm thoughts of me. I notice and it helps. It has been "a very difficult week", beyond words which has surprised me. Something happened here in my real life that really hurt me and sent my mind in a spin (not my daughter this time). I need to now reaffirm the positives or I will sink. So it's a battle of spirit over mind once again. Wish me luck.

I hope this post finds you all well, that your dizziness and weakness has settled @Maggie. I hope your daughter is feeling better too @Former-Member. This can be such a distressing time for a mother but also a time when we discover our inner strength and courage when that's all we have to rely on. Hugs xx

P.S I picked the winner of the Melbourne Cup!!! 🐴

I'm so sorry you've had such a terrible time lately.
Thinking of you and hope to catch up soon.
Have to find something to eat now. Been out for apt etc and feeling super stressed.
Wanted to say hi though and thoughts are with you.
Hope you feel better very soon. xo
