Re: Taking the plunge

Change of any kind can have that affect on us @Gazza75 A good attitude though

I am a little better today - going back to work tomorrow. Think I will need an early night though.

Re: Taking the plunge

I was up later than I expected last night too but it was more that I had slept all afternoon and then the meds didn't kick in for several hours @Gazza75 Reall tired tonight so sleep should not be such an issue ....hopefully.

Re: Taking the plunge

I hope so @Zoe7 😊

I. Usually don't struggle to.sleep, but. Since. My breakdown I. Find. It challenging on occasion.. Hard.not to. Dwell. On. Past.for.me, get frustrated.

Re: Taking the plunge

Had years of those same challenges @Gazza75 and whilst I still have some nightmares and fears of sleeping it is more irregular and more manageable. The night air has got to me again tonight and mmy cough is back - not as bad as it was yesterday but still annoying. Bed made though and ready to get into

Do you do anything before bed to help you sleep?

Re: Taking the plunge

I didn’t see any sharks or frogs today lol @Gazza75 or looks like a dolphin. Didn’t get to the beach.

I didnt get out today @Zoe7

2 huge things triggered me. One included family (ex family).

Took a while for me to get control of emotions. I thought it best not to go out, because I was so distressed.

Fridge has been playing up for a while. I’m going to have to go and buy another one. Not looking forward to shopping for a fridge. This one isn’t that old.

Making pancakes for dinner. Had decent lunch.

Whats for dinner at yours @Zoe7 @Gazza75 @Maggie

🤗🥰

It was a good-ish day thanks @Gazza75 . I have had a cousin here visiting, but she went home today. I have appreciated her company.

Re: Taking the plunge

I think it is awesome that yiu are trying to look after yourself and not drinking is one of those ways @Former-Member

Triggers suck but you got through it today so give yourself a pat on the back for that too

I had an early dinner - around 4pm - but that was lunch too. Pancakes would be lovely - I love pancakes (savoury or sweet). They are actually one of the very few sweet things I eat. I had chops and veggies ...Toby and Cat got the tails off them - like chops but not the fat on them so my fur babies get a treat whenever I have them.

Bugger about your fridge. I had my drill die on me today and had to go to Bunnings to get a new one ...did not need that added expense but a fridge certainly costs way more. WIll you do some online browsing first before you go out to buy one?
