Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Shaz51 , i'm into the mid 40's now. Starting to feel it a bit too LOL 🙂
My parents are in their own home, they've only had the one place since they immigrated here from the UK. It's a fairly big house for them to maintain, but, they manage the upkeep pretty well. I help out a bit outside with the lawns now.
My brother has a habit of buying houses on hills, he should of sold his curent place after his injury, but, he hasn't. Makes it harder on him and his family as he can't get around very well on steep ground any more. He's lucky to be getting around at all really.

What is dotting @Maggie 🤔😂 I’ve never heard of it. Good on you for teaching the lady. It feels good to help others.
I haven’t been able to visit the nursing home for days. It feels good at the time, to help mum and others there. But breaks my heart, then I drink. Stupid. Very annoying.
Good on you for helping your parents @Gazza75
Back later. Need a little rest.

Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member I’ll put up a picture for you to see. But a simple explanation is, using paint and dotting tools to creat a design. Mandala kind of thing. I started on stones and small canvas. @CheerBear Has done some amazing dotting on larger canvas.
Not stupid at all @Former-Member , you are trying to cope as best you can.
This is one I did today.

Re: Taking the plunge
Your welcome @Maggie . Do you use stucco for the black and if so do you add anything to it? I saw @CheerBear asking somwhere about it as some of the dots were disapearing. I'm hoping to try some small canvas designs soon. I should have written down the additive, but, I didn't. ughggh 🙂 You two are another level 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge
In a bubble today @Gazza75, sort of zoned out of the too-much-going-on that is all over my life at the moment, and taking things one step at a time.
Got my problem hair seen to this morning, and a couple of problem knots massaged out of my neck and shoulders, and have parked up in an arcade with a coffee ..... thinking about heading home to an unwell kidult who needs support to do an assignment. And keep working on my assignment.
Its so lovely to just sit here in the background a bit and see everybody chatting and supporting each other here. And the dotting is a joy to behold @Maggie 💜
