Re: Taking the plunge

Gosh it's hard being a mum.
The emotions are so intense.
Here I lie in darkness and I am overwhelmed
My girl has been diagnosed with something I never imagined
My eyes hurt from tears, I can't even see if I'm typing correctly
Another huge unexpected trial that I will survive but I Will never understand why life is so hard.

Thankyou for being there.
I'll be there for you too once I get over this

Re: Taking the plunge

Dear @Former-Member, I understand how you must be feeling. I feel for you, I fear with you, I hold your hand just to let you know you are not alone, and dont need to feel that you are. I am here for you, in mind and spirit.

Have I missed something, I have not read of your daughter's diagnosis? Whatever it is, you will always be there for her, as a good Mum always is. I know you will also be here for us, your forum friends. But we are not your priority right now, so please dont worry about us for now. Your priority is yourself and your daughter. But please allow us, your forum friends, to help support you in whatever way we are able. So write here as and when you feel the need. You have many lovely friends here who only want the best for you.

I dont know why life has to be so hard, so unfair. I wish I had the answer to that. But you will survive, you're strong and resilient, you'll find a way.

Now try to get some rest. A big comforting hug coming your way.

Sherry xx
