Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member I hope you managed some sleep last night, and today is a little better than yesterday. The phone call is a biggie @Former-Member hopefully today will put your mind at ease, it's hard enough making any call, let alone a difficult one.
I prefer colder weather too @Former-Member, layers of clothing and soft blankets are a comfort kind of feeling. House Rules was good, I'm glad the couple ended up on the bottom.👍👍
No idea what will happen today, something will though, it always does. Take care. 💜💕💛🐞🐜🐝🕷

Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member If you aren't going out to the things you enjoy, ( not sure enjoy is the right word ), can you do things for yourself at home this week, painting, drawing, TV. ????
Gosh a week without crying, wonder what that's like!!!! I'm secretly hoping your dr has told you to rest this week, a legitimate excuse to put the brakes on !!!
Im going to give you a little giggle now @Former-Member, hope it doesn't hurt the stitches toooo much. Last week I bought one of those iwalk machine, a months free trial!!!!! I had no idea they could go that fast. Got a bit cocky on the slow walk so pressed a button.....it spat me off the end quick smart. 😂😂😂
Also while reading the instructions this is what I read. Humm!!!! Hope today is okish.

Hi guys! I'm hoping that you all had a lovely weekend! 🙂 I'm having a good time although the weekend was rough for me. I just asked my HBP to wear earbus or headphones as the TV being on was bothering me ........ and ...... he did it! I was surprised! I think that he could tell that the TV was really bothering me as it often does so he did! 🙂 I'm so happy and excited and proud of myself at this moment! 😄 It's really nice in here. The dogs are chilling out with me and he's still happily watching TV in the living room. We're in the dinning room but I think our female dog is thinkings about moving into the living room with him because he's eating. lol. I'm still really liking this group! It was really nice reading up on some of the things I missed over the weekend. Thanks guys! 🙂 🙂 ![]()

Hi @PatchouliRose I have no idea what HBP means in the context of your message, sorry. I've tried looking it up, but the info doesn't fit with the message. Anyway, things sound like they have worked out, and peace a quite achieved.
I hope you have a good day, it's early so plans might be made. The dogs sound happy. My little girl is asleep on my knee atm. Really good to see you here.💛💕💜

Morning @Maggie
Freezing this morning. Restless sleep, so haven’t woken feeling good.
Better get a strong coffee.
Hope your day is ok and not too freezing. ☕️💜
Hi there. @PatchouliRose 👋🌷🌸

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Former-Member, no I didnt paint the picture I posted yesterday. Its one I found on the net. Wish I could paint it though. Perhaps I'll try?
@Maggie - ha ha, yes very thorough instructions there. Thanks for sharing. And good on you too for giving the walking machine a try. Means you can get that exercise without having to go out in the cold or the places which cause distress. No, the Dr only told me one thing ... to keep the stitches dry. Its raining again here today, normally I'd be out there in the rain. Although its quite cold again today, so maybe I wouldnt. My eye is very swollen today, which is causing some vision problems. Normally I'd be putting a cool cloth over the eye to help the swelling, but of course I cant. Cant even have a proper wash! But at least the wound itself is not as touch sore as it was yesterday. So thats a positive.
Anyway today looks like being an inside day. Little Holly is fine after her innoculations yesterday, and with the cold weather and her lack of a think coat, she is lovely and clingy and cuddly this morning. She does keep looking at me a little peculiarly however, dont think she likes the new me with the bandage under the eye and across the nose.
Sorry to hear you've had a number of BCCs removed as well. I had one cut out years ago, but nothing since. The Dr is concerned that there is another one on the other side, almost same place as the one he removed yesterday however. I told him he should take it out yesterday, as it would even things up a bit. He wasnt amused. But I was quite serious. Do you have fair skin Maggie? I think you know I am a brown eyed redhead, with very fair skin and a smattering of freckles. Always prone to skin cancers. As a very sporty kid, I grew up spending most of my side outside. Never a sun worshiper as such, just that to do the sports and things I enjoyed, you had no choice than to be out in the sun. So I got badly sunburnt regularly.
Okay, so I'm going to take things easy today. Just fed, injected and medicated hubby, so I can relax for a bit now.
Have the best day possible everyone. @PatchouliRose @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member
