Re: Taking the plunge

Morning everyone ☺

I went hunting for a coffee to bring you this morning @Maggie and found myself in the wonderful world of strange and interesting mugs and cups (again). Today's find are these:

There are so many cups with things inside them. I was fascinated by this 😆

Mostly dropping by to send you thoughts and hopes that things are OK/Ok-ish 💛💗.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear It was lovely finding you here this morning. The dreaded triangle is there atm, so waiting for the pic. Looking at mugs reminded me of a mug I bought for my father many years ago. He was Irish and I thought i had found the perfect mug. The handle was on the inside!!!!!! It was hilarious to me, but not to him. I never forgot that mug, and the smile it always brings. Back to okish after not okish at all, life keeps moving.

Do you leave for respite today?????Has the last few days helped????

@PatchouliRose Lovely seeing you here bright and early. I hope your are okish and thank you for your kind thoughts.

Re: Taking the plunge

Haha that is a funny image @Maggie! I would have found that pretty hilarious too!

I have my assessment today for admission Monday. Feeling jittery now and trying to push through the feels about the kids. I have to do this and I know that, it's just getting over the final hurdles I think.

I'm glad you're back to okish. It's better than not okish at all. Big hugs.

Better fly for now ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie Hey Mags! I'm doing great! Well I'm doing as good as one can be in this hotter than tar weather actually, which is great. We don't have A/C so it's a little difficult at the begining of the year but we always make it through most of the summer without using the A/C. Okay well bye! For now! 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge

This one is Japanese. It is very small. 🙂I can't drink coffee but I can drink a little tea. Some times I use this coffee mug but mostly I save it for when company comes over. It delights most people to see the frog at the bottom of their coffee. 🙂 I feel so good lately it's amazing. My meds haven't changed at all but my attitude toward life has. 🙂 I'm really quite happy with that. I'm learning more about my illness which is BPD, the major one anyway. I'm making friends again and starting to socialize a little but I think that the thing that has made the biggest or one of the biggest differences is being on this forum. 🙂 I'm not exactly sure why. I know that I'm more careful with the words I choose to use on here because well I'm not exactly again sure why but because I feel like people on here care and I don't know I care for you guys as well. I'm going to go take a picture of the mug now. @Maggie Your mug sounds awesome but how do you keep from burning your hands???? Just curious. Okay. Picture! 🙂 I can't find the frog mug. Well it's at our neighbor's house so I'll have to get a picture later. I posted a picture of well some pictures of a different mug that I got at a Thrift Store in a town that I used to live in a long time ago. Also @CheerBear Do you know nevermind. 🙂 I truly hope that you're doing really, really, really, really well! 🙂

@PatchouliRose Can't see the pics yet, but will come back later. The Irish mug is a bit of a giggle at the Irish they are well known for being able to laugh at themselves, re, the handle on the inside.

Its good you are feeling well, long may it last. It's good you are also enjoying the forum. It's nice bumping into you on different threads. Hope your days is a good one, I have a few appointments today, so better get myself ready. 💜💜🕷🕷🐝🐝🐛

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie and waves to @PatchouliRose (love the mug) @CheerBear @Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7 and others.

Maggie, I too would have had a major giggle with an Irish mug with the handle on the inside. I'm sorry to hear that your Dad had no sense of humour, or at least not one compatible with yours.

I see you have some appointments today. I think the weather is going to be very cold down your way over the next few days. In fact snow on all the alps in NSW as well as the cold front works its way North. So make sure you rug up well while you're out and about for your appointments. Is anyone taking you or going with you? I hope the appointments go well.

Sending love and laughter.

Sherry

Here's an old Irish blessing for you about love and laughter.
