Trying to find words that make sense of my world. When I get lost, I really do it well. Some call it stuck I think. It can feel like I've lost my mind as well as my way through. But in my lost mind, it's crystal clear and upside down, back to front and inside out. I wonder if it has something to do with having a shattered core. Ive been working on uncovering it and rebuilding, but it's proving harder than I ever expected. Finding my voice isn't all I expected either, maybe it's coming out wrong. I'm lucky to have a counsellor who follows my thinking, and amazes me with the sense she salvages as my words fall out, often in a hurry. Mostly I'm struggling behind mask after mask wishing the few people in my world could accept the real me but knowing it's a high expectation. I read this poster recently, maybe many of us here can identify as I do.
