Re: Taking the plunge
Ahh, at last @utopia. Glad you have your power back on and fans on the go. Its hot here tonight as well, and I have my ceiling fan in the bedroom on. Just turned air con in the lounge room off. Hope it cools down there for you and you get some sleep.
@Former-Member - Step children and their respective families wont be here for Christmas, but possibly during the school holidays, sometime in January most likely. And yes I am hoping that will be the case, as its always a lovely time spent with the grandkids.
@Maggie, I meant to say earlier that I loved the sky photo with the heart shaped star formation that you posted here last night. Lovely it was. And tonight I was just outside looking at the stars, its not far off midnight and its still very hot. But the stars are looking brilliant. My little resident ringtail possum is out there too scurrying along the grape vine, I just left him a cherry. Hope he takes it.
Well its off to bed for me now. Santa (compliments of @Phoenix_Rising on her Lets Make Christmas Fun thread) has gifted me a weeks worth of restful slumber for Christmas. Not sure when that starts though? Maybe I have to wait until Christmas to actually collect. I'll soon find out I guess. ![]()
Hi @Former-Member, I hope things are improving for you? Hello to @Faith-and-Hope.

Re: Taking the plunge
Good night @utopia and @Former-Member, sweet dreams 😴. I am still up at 1:00am, I wish I could get to sleep earlier and rise early.
It will be lovely for you to have your family up in the Christmas holidays @Former-Member. Something to really look forward to. The starry night sky sounded very inviting at your place - I would of love to have sat there with you for a much needed boost. It would of been so peaceful....I miss doing that at our old farming property. We use to have a trampoline for my daughter - and at night there we would lay back on it and just gaze at the stars and constellations for hours. The skies were so clear having no light pollution and just breathtaking.

Re: Taking the plunge
I hope you can get to sleep soon. 😴💕
Night night @Faith-and-Hope 😴💕
I see you 😊 I don't always tag you because I don't want to be a nuisance. 😄
But I do think of you.
No walk this afternoon @Former-Member 😕
I was without a car and it's too hot to walk around the neighbourhood, even late afternoon. It's bearable at beach late afternoon though. Maybe tomorrow
I think hiding at home is helping me recover from all the strsss re hospital stay etc etc etc tests background family stuff and the rest
