Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Bunniekins,
I'm in the library plugging away at them. I have a MASSIVE one due on Friday!!! EEK!
But things are okay other than that. I'm trying to get ahead so I can have a break between Christmas and New Year, but I have exams mid-Jan so I've got to be ontop of everything before Christmas.
I'm doing a full time load over the summer, so it's a lot of work for me.
How are you today?

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Good on you! Best wishes with it! I am pretty good thanks. Wishing I was in a air conditioned library lol. No news here just waiting for my ex to come and then we will have some dinner later and discuss my poor son and his management plan but he too is doing well atm too. So I cannot complain.

Re: Taking the plunge

We have a little noticeboard at the front of the library and someone has written some pretty graphic comments about how much they love the air conditioning!!!
Your son, does he have a MI too? Sorry, I don't read many of the threads here, so I don't know that much about you and your story @Bunniekins. Good to hear that he is going well though.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Hahaha! I remember the rather graphic comments written in the university toilet cubicles lol ... Yes he has schizophrenia which is complicated by other issues. I am really proud of him. I have bipolar and schizoaffective disorder and my daughter has depression ... I am not believe me doing a pity party there are others far worse off ... it just is what it is.

I don't read all the threads either far too many and sometimes I simply cannot cope and have to distance myself from it otherwise it will have a negative effect on me.

What about you 5-HT I don't know that much about you except that you are a brain!!!!!!!!

Re: Taking the plunge

It's funny. I was commenting on facebook a few weeks ago about how students don't do graffiti anymore. The toilets and desks are clean these days. Not like when I was an undergraduate 10 years ago. I just found it an interesting sociological feature that the culture has changed and it's not done anymore.
I've been diagnosed with schizoaffective too, but I think it's been changed to depression now. I'm not really sure.
I guess it would be good for him having a mum that knows a bit of what he is going through. My parents, whilst supportive, don't really get it.
I'm not very smart in real life, I just like talking about science a lot. I'm actually the 'dumb bunny' in my friendship group. I'm always the one who has to work 10 times harder at uni then they did, my marks are quite low and I have learning issues too. But I really, really like learning stuff. I think it's one of my things that keep me going. I just love to learn!
What's your thing @Bunniekins? What gets you out of bed and fired up for the day?
