@Former-Member I like the chase, amazing minds from the chasers, very fast thinking. I can imagine being a writer that words of any kind are intriguing. We are right with you in the moment to moment grind, you don't have to talk about it just know we are right here.
@CheerBear Lights out, feet up and hopefully a good book for you, another day down, and we are still breathing.
@Faith-and-Hope Sorry,I caught up on another thread about today for you , big hug.

Re: Taking the plunge
If anyone understands what I'm trying to write, congratulations. I try to be kind to me, but gee, it doesn't come easy when self image is below zero and self hate dominate. But I had a thought, it might only apply to me, but here goes. I've struggled so hard to accept my MI ssssss, all the different labels etc. I can honestly say I've pushed myself past exhaustion trying to find my path to healing, health or just momentary relief. At the bottom of another dark and lonely pit stop, exhausted, hopeless and lost, there seemed no other choice than to accept. Yes I'm sick, unwell. Something changed, it's still dark, I'm still alone and lost, but I wonder if in my own awkward way, I was being kind to me by accepting. Is acceptance my foundation stone. As nothing in my world is stable, everything moves, thoughts, feelings, nothing's solid. Can I sit here through those devastating storms? I've never had a foundation stone to take those small steps from, it seems I stumble before my foot lands. Does anyone understand this????

Re: Taking the plunge
Omg ......
@Maggie, you couldn't have known .... sunflowers have a special significance for me, a special connection between my mother and me ....and today one of my daughters bought me sunflowers .....
And omg .... I have just worked something out. I was trying to think through something that I need to explain to our cc next week, and it has suddenly "come together" in my understanding, as clear as day.
I knew wh was switching between "states", but it was only when I went to put an identifying label on each of those states now that they have become abundantly clear, and I think I can identify how many there are ....
Wow.
Just needed to share that with somebody @Maggie, and I knew you would understand.
