Re: Taking the plunge
Good point @Former-Member, and with that in mind, I have just completed my latest art project.
I was happy with it up until I did the face. Sadly it doesnt look right, but I was unable to improve it.
Oh well, gotta start somewhere. I will see if I can post it here or the art thread.
@Maggie, I knew you'd understand. Sorry yesterday was so draining for you. Hopefully you have a more restful day today. And your counsellor tomorrow, after a longish break.
Hi @utopia @outlander @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Bunniekins @Shaz51 @CheerBear (Happy Birthday) @Zoe7 @Phoenix_Rising and others. I hope all of you have a great day.

Re: Taking the plunge
I'd love to show you too @Former-Member, but I just tried to copy and paste it here, but it wont work. I need to do some research into how this can be done obviously. I will keep trying.

Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member I've watered the garden and done some xstitch, that's it for now. Your latest art work sounds interesting, I don't think we are best at judging our own work. I've cut up many a xstitch in the past because of a stitch in the wrong place. I'm working at not being such a perfectionist these days, plus it ends up being expensive, most don't even notice. You have you psych app. Tomorrow also, a relief I expect just being able to talk about things. Starting to warm up here. Take it easy today, looking after hubby is work enough.💜💜
@Former-Member So you are organising something, sounds Christmasey????? No fun shopping in the rain.💕💕
@utopia did you say you are off to the library???

Re: Taking the plunge
@Faith-and-Hope - I use a PC and I have saved my scanned artwork as a JPEG file both in pictures and documents. Just cant copy and paste it now matter what I do.
@Former-Member - Sorry you werent happy with your first ocean painting. As Maggie says, we are probably not the best at critiquing our own works. Pity you pained over it, it probably had much more merit than you gave it credit for. I have painted on ocean scene with a boat in the foreground. It was just okay, but an early attempt with watercolour.
@Maggie - Yes I will get this artwork up somehow. And once I work out how its done, I will put some of my other attempts up as well. Hoping Faith and Hope can advise on that score? Its hard work being a perfectionist Maggie. I dont think I am exactly that, but will admit to being borderline. Yes it will be a relief to be able to talk to my psych tomorrow, about lots of things. We have just had a heavy shower of rain here today, but now its quite warm and humid. Lots of rain further north I see. Glad the temps have cooled down somewhat in Tassie Maggie. Mid 20's I agree with you is perfect.

Re: Taking the plunge
When it opens you will see a "tool bar" across the top.
Look for a small square / rectangle with a tiny silhouette of a mountain and a sun / moon within it.
Click on that.

Does that work ?
