@Former-Member I slept for 12 hours. From 1am to 1pm. I felt refreshed today. Still feel good.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hello @Former-Member. Just got home from my son's school concert. Was great. He's brilliant on the saxophone. Was a good night.

Re: Taking the plunge

That's good @utopia 😊
No more school things for me.
That's going to take a bit of getting used to, but a HUGE relief that's it's over forever. 😀

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I have just read your post as yesterday I had dr and ct scan and was a mess. Simple things are not simple for us. I'm hearing you regarding the knocks, the bowling ally syndrome, struggle to get up, a ball headed straight for you 100MPH. You have so much to try and cope with and so little time for you. I understand the triggers and how they rock the world we try to live in. I know the distractions that don't work when things become unbearable. I'm sitting with you, feeling with you, understanding with you.

Re: Taking the plunge

Thankyou @utopia the scan is over now a wait for E/N/T. You are blessed to be able to sleep for 12 hrs, I imagine that is a good feeling. It's good to read the depression is lifting for you, it's been a long dark road in your world. Good to see you around.❣❣

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Glad your day improved yesterday. No relief til March, I had to read that again, in the heat, I don't know how you do it. We are cooling down after today. All next week will be 19-24, perfect in my opinion. Yes I have been doing some xstitch. I haven't followed patterns much as I mostly make my wordy ones up as I go, so it's challenging. Some patterns are easier to read than others, some threads better than others. I've been doing a lot of unpicking in the last few years, frustrating, but I get there...eventually. Mine are nothing like yours @Former-Member@yours are a work of art, no doubt there. Beautiful. I'm reading a good book atm, I know why the caged bird sings. I'm enjoying it. I'm actually reading 5 books atm. Obviously all over the place here. Lol. Off to water the garden before the heatwave.

Hi @outlander I was pleased to read mum and bf have moved out, a small window of hope for you.

@Former-Member@Former-Member I'll catch up after the garden gets a drink

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I don't know what to say, re depression, it's more than "my reality" it's an illness, or have I got that wrong. So often it's thought of as having a sad/bad day, but it's soooooo much more and it infects everything we are/do. You can't help having depression any more than you can having a broken leg!!!!!!!
