Re: Taking the plunge
I have spent most of my adult life alone @TAB,and it's not going to improve, worse now because I'm so down and out and feel inadequate and a failure and I try to avoid people to keep myself "safe"from potential threat or harm .

Re: Taking the plunge
..I got left behind in 20s re friends/marriages/kids ..all from un resolved teen/child hood stuff. I never wanted to grow up. And in a way I didn't. I spent decades indoors sucking on thumb ok not literally with the odd why aren't you married yet from rels thrown in.. while I set myself up for ok .. for where I am now @Former-Member anyways.. 😬🚶.. gets hard sometimes, well when I put my head up. Am working part time on call , go to work next day sometimes just picking up scraps as opposed to even 3-4 yrs ago when it seemed to make sense.. just gets harder and harder to engage or give a shit re work or life when there is nothing good or beneficial on offer. Anyways. Interesting times. I foretold it myself 15 years ago in a way while sliding along the bottom/taking bad advice bla bla

Re: Taking the plunge
Similar @TAB, but different didn't meet anyone, didn't want kids due to my traumas and wouldn't bring a child in to endure what I went through.Only thing is it did contribute to my breakdown at age 40 due to realising I never lived life.At the same point, got another job knockback this morning via email which only causes distress. I get that P***** off at seeking "help" five years ago...all it did was help me sabatage my self further .
