Re: Taking the plunge
@Appleblossom Thankyou. I realise I was triggered by fear again. That the roots of fear are deep in me. I didn’t even recognise the trigger, it’s so ingrained.
Your words “ gentle hold you are worthy” speak volumes. You are wise.
I will still sit under my sunrise/sunset, and pray my simple gratitude.

@Maggie wrote:That was the clencher for me @NatureLover . Mr Christian said he wouldn’t baptise gay people unless the walked away from their life style . I just can’t agree at all.
I agree with you, @Maggie . I've always thought it's perfectly fine to be gay, but to my lasting shame, when I was in the church I never spoke up about it. I guess I wasn't strong enough back then...so I really admire you for what you tried to do in the church.
I have lots more thoughts about being gay, too, such as all the children with no-one to love them for themselves, in orphanages around the world, and all the beautiful gay couples (and singles) wanting children to love as their own...and how crazy the world is not to make gay adoption easy...but anyway.
I saw a bit of sun so am lying out on a towel in the damp garden...hoping the sun will return...

Re: Taking the plunge
Many of our health services would crumble without out gay contributors @NatureLover. They get a rough deal, for sure. Sadly, my previous conversations with Mr Christian went unheard. My understanding of being gay, is as simple as being born with black or white skin. Blue, brown or hazel eyes, it’s just how they are born, beautiful different, just like the rest of us.
Lying out in the sun on a damp towel @NatureLover. I hope the sun returns, a fast. ☀️☀️☀️☀️🧡🧡🧡

That's my understanding too. I'm sorry Mr Christian wouldn't listen. 😥 I think it's good that you asked him not to come back.
I'm getting cold so I think I'll have to go inside. The minute I do, I'm sure the sun will come out 😄

I find christian anti gay attitudes so contrary to Christ's messgae, but have finally realised once they start on that line, there is no winning or use talking any more. So I move away.
