the longest wait while being petrified

So on wednesday I went to see my gp about a skin spot I was finding to be quite suspicious and the news turned out to be not what I expected.
They want the spot surgically removed urgently as in tuesday unless others cancel and i can get in earlier. They want the whole thing and as it looks like its spreading already they want more than just the top taken off then if it comes back malignanat more tests to see how far its spread then removed those areas

the worrying part is i dont know how long its been there for and because ive noticed it change twice its a very bad sign. Unintentionally coming off her was fear. Fear from others makes me worse and she was sending off alot of that. She pointed out 2 other points that she noticed that are really not good and are often seen in skin cancers.

Im so scared and it seems like tuesday is taking forever to get here. Its really not easy to sit with and accept. Im bloody pertrified!

I just got comfy started drifting off and a bloody switch or something flicked. Eyes open and my heart is going faster than a race car. Sounds louder than one too. And the shakes are ridiculous
How is this even possible. Im going to try and force myself to sleep not sure how thats going to work

@outlanderyou need to calm yourself down before you can sleep. Can you try some deep breathing if your heart is racing. Can you listen to something, a mindfulness app on your phone. Or what about the 5 senses one?

@Former-Member @outlander I'm angry now for what has happened I'm just shaking my head here. I have NEVER seen Outlander so happy & having so much fun before. Now thanx to someone who doesn't care about our healing. We just let it all go down the drain. Up then down is not healthy & we didn't cause this emotional roller coaster?? None of us went over board. I may not come back to visit this site again I'm so concerned about all our Mental Health in here after all I am a MHW have been for more years than I would like to admit! You better not go backwards @outlander over this as I am invested in your emotional health now, by my own choice.

@outlander or go splash your face with cold water. I'm sure everything is fine. Stitches are pretty secure. It's hard to break them

I can try @Former-Member i just dont get it i was fine until i shut my eyes then its all over
Im tired because every part of me us heavy except for the fact im shaking and my heart is going crazy
I just wanted to go to sleep

@Former-Member please stay around. I need your light heartedness. I can see both sides of the story, but it makes me a little cross that on two occasions tonight I been warned off. It does make me not want to post anything now, as all I and yourselves was trying to lighten a difficult situation. It's a fine balance unfortunately.

I know @outlander you just want to go to sleep. You just need to do a bit of self care before hand. No on can go to sleep in a heightened state and you will just get more and more upset. What helps you calm down the most?

@outlander maybe try to put some music on, something soft. Do you want to try an exercise called paired muscle relaxation? It's very easy to do.

@outlander do you have any tablets that are properly prescribed for you to help you to sleep calm down or for your blood pressure? If so take as directed now plz as its Wednesday morning a new day ok? If not can you plz go warm a cup of milk no added anything & sip on it until all gone so as you can get some help to calm down & sleep plz? If you eat a Banana slowly there is a natural calmative in Banana & it will help you ok? plz ?
