So on wednesday I went to see my gp about a skin spot I was finding to be quite suspicious and the news turned out to be not what I expected. They want the spot surgically removed urgently as in tuesday unless others cancel and i can get in earlier. They want the whole thing and as it looks like its spreading already they want more than just the top taken off then if it comes back malignanat more tests to see how far its spread then removed those areas
the worrying part is i dont know how long its been there for and because ive noticed it change twice its a very bad sign. Unintentionally coming off her was fear. Fear from others makes me worse and she was sending off alot of that. She pointed out 2 other points that she noticed that are really not good and are often seen in skin cancers.
Im so scared and it seems like tuesday is taking forever to get here. Its really not easy to sit with and accept. Im bloody pertrified!

There are different levels of "not good" and lots of different levels of treatment to match ..... just breathe and wait to find out. Park up the worry till then, cos you can't do anything about it for now anyway.

They want more treatment done. I have to have more surgury because its cancerous and they want to get it all so they want to do more surgury. They want just abit more out to make sure its all gone. At least its not the worst kind. Just more sutures I cant have any more procedures done till mum gets back. They want to take out more marginal space to make sure they get it all. Shes eatimating a few more sutures just ao they can get it all. Then will just have to keep watches but because i caught it early its not too bad. I just need time to process it properly.

That's actually great @outlander ..... that means that they expect they have got it all, but because it has turned cancerous, they want to make sure they've got it all.
They knew mine was cancerous from its signs, so they took more from the area in the original surgery to make sure they got it all, so what they are doing now is being as responsible for you as they can be.
Remember that I had regular checks for up to five years after mine was removed, even though they knew they had gotten it all, just to be sure to be sure ......
Breathe @outlander ..... you did so well to get to it early, and this is actually great news ..... you are dodging a big danger here .....

@outlander- there are many things I hear in your post.
Damn, it's the bloody C word-scary as shite.
Great news, you got on top of it early, so only a but longer to wait until they get the rest. Yes more sutures, but you're getting used to them now. And maybe you could ask for stringer pain medication.
