@Former-Member, please do not feel that you have to hold back or a burdening me with your "stuff". It is important that you are heard too. As much as it saddens me that you went through SA and everything else you have endured since then, it is nice to know that we are not in this journey by oursleves.

I don't wake my husband when I am having panic attacks. I don't think I am ready for him to see me in such a distressed state yet. I try to manage them myself.

I understand how you say you were too ashamed. I never told anyone at the time either or afterwards. Even now, I still carry a lot of guilt, shame, embarassment around my SA (work in progress). My SA started when I was 8 and went for a number of years.

I have a favour to ask you all - and it is not in keeping with this thread but I am sure after yesterday @Former-Member will understand why I am asking this - if you guys have time (and the energy) I am posting 'happy and upliting' images to faithand hope on Am Not Coping thread to support her today. I know you all think very highly of her also and thought it would be nice to let you know that today is a difficult day for her and that we can all really show how much we are 'with her' by posting such images - but only if you are able to
