Know the feeling @Catcakes but my mother was always sick as a child and learnt the rewards of helplessness.My life means nothing if it threatens her or her irrational thoughts.

I’m sorry to hear that @Former-Member that you mother gives you such a hard time.
I know how hurtful it can be when your caring efforts go unnoticed or your feelings are invalidated.
Sometimes I think I should charge my psychologist fees to my mother because it’s the caring role that gives me so much grief....

@Bubbles3I only have 2 kids but have another 4 here. Came over for a play. They are all good kids so play together well. They haven't really bothered me all day. I made sure there were a few pitchers of cordial, cut up some fruit, stuck some party pies and sausage rolls in the oven for lunch and they are all happy as.
