Re: a song to express our feelings

@Ant7 here is a clean but funny story. My ex husbands younger brouther was on a motor bike helping out on a farm once. He noticed in the distance a goanna, quite sizeable, was running towards him, so he set off on the bike really fast. The goanna was gunning it so the brother was revving that motor faster and faster the goanna got so close but the brother managed to get away just in the nick of time before the goanna climbed on to of him. They do that they climb up on you like you are a tree.

@Bunniekins we were camping in Tasmania. We have a large tent my son was at one end and my daughters at the other my wife and I in the middle. My wife and I are just about a sleep and we hear the girls talking. I say what’s up and they say something is trying to get into the tent. I grab the torch and the biggest possum I have ever seen is standing on its back legs leaning on the fly screen above my daughters head. The thing won’t go so I had to punch it gently lol

Re: a song to express our feelings

@Bunniekins the next day we went hiking around Cradle Mountain. It is the middle of summer but it was freezing and it had snowed overnight. My boots soaked through after about 5 minuets everyone else wasn’t much better. The spray jackets we bought lasted about an hour. We climbed up to this lookout but couldn’t see anything cause it was raining to heavy. Now the wind is blowing at about 120kmph and my daughter is physically getting blown sideways. I go to grab her as she gets almost blown over and I slide and hyper extended my knee. So now I am soaked through freezing and I have to hobble around. Anyway we get back to the camp and we go to the shower and I am just about hypothermic and all the showers are taken. Anyway I finally get in the shower in my clothes and just stand there for 20 minuets until I thawed out lol

@Ant7 You are obviously such a good dad and husband ... you poor thing ... thank god they had hot showers!!!!! I would love to go to Cradle Mountain. It is so beautiful there.

OMG! Here is a good one. My ex and myself when we were bf and gf were travelling out to Uluru and went through this very small town to get there ... anyway we stopped at the park and were having some lunch when a group of young men started saying 'How much for your missus? How much? How much for your missus?' I nearly died I kept saying to my dumb ex lets go and he didnt hear them so he says why? why? Until I finally get up and say lets go,go!
