HOME

Well I'm finally home (again).
4 hospital stays in 91 days. Wow. No wonder it feels so strange to be in my own house again. Adjusting will take time. Cooking for myself will take time.
My house is in the same condition in which I left it. A pigsty. So no one room has warmth and charm to lift my mood. Will have to slowly start cleaning up - one room at a time.
I did go and watch my son play soccer in the finals. I'd been so sick this year - thst it was the first game I had been to all year. His team lost. But they play again next week. So still stand a chance of playing the grand final.
My son is still living with my mum. Has been since the end of April. Hopefully he will see how much I've improved on my new anti depressants and anti anxiety meds. Then he may choose to come home soon.
Was up and doing the washing early this morning. But now reading a book in bed.
Am very bored. But have AA Meeting tomorrow night.
And I have my WorkCover IME (independent Medical Examination) - psych interview with a tough psychiatric on the 30th of this month. Think it could be on Wednesday. And then I have my much waited for Psychologist appointment. Can't see him when I'm in hospital (too far away).
So that's it for now. A new thread for a new beginning.

Re: HOME

@Zoe7. I'm back to sitting in just my undies. Not a good look, but I'm the only one who can see me.

Temp is now 35 degrees. Cooler in the house now. A lot more comfortable.

Waiting for this cool change to hit. Would love a night time temp of 15 degrees or lower. Makes for better sleep.

Our grass fire up in the mountains is burning towards the forests furthest away from our town.

No one showed up at refuge centre. So they will close the doors at 10pm and wait and see what tomorrow brings.

I hope your fire gets put out soon. But yeah, some terrain is hard to fight fires in.

Re: HOME

It's 11.20pm and it's finally dropped to 27 degrees. Feels so much better already.

Tomorrow is only going to get as high as 22 degrees.

I'll sleep. Hope you will.

Night night.

Thank you @Maggie @Shaz51.

Lovely cool breeze at the moment . So nice.

Went and had a swim at a friends house today and stayed for a yummy BBQ.

Re: HOME

Swim and BBQ sounds good @utopia. Cooler here in Tassie also, 22 today. I might get some things done, but then, I might not.

Hope today has some good moments for you.

Re: HOME

@Maggie 22 sounds good after that heat wave last week. Not so hot here today either. Which is nice.

Heading to the big town today to get stationary supplies for my son. School books already ordered. Think we are going to be ready a bit earlier this school year.
