HOME

Well I'm finally home (again).
4 hospital stays in 91 days. Wow. No wonder it feels so strange to be in my own house again. Adjusting will take time. Cooking for myself will take time.
My house is in the same condition in which I left it. A pigsty. So no one room has warmth and charm to lift my mood. Will have to slowly start cleaning up - one room at a time.
I did go and watch my son play soccer in the finals. I'd been so sick this year - thst it was the first game I had been to all year. His team lost. But they play again next week. So still stand a chance of playing the grand final.
My son is still living with my mum. Has been since the end of April. Hopefully he will see how much I've improved on my new anti depressants and anti anxiety meds. Then he may choose to come home soon.
Was up and doing the washing early this morning. But now reading a book in bed.
Am very bored. But have AA Meeting tomorrow night.
And I have my WorkCover IME (independent Medical Examination) - psych interview with a tough psychiatric on the 30th of this month. Think it could be on Wednesday. And then I have my much waited for Psychologist appointment. Can't see him when I'm in hospital (too far away).
So that's it for now. A new thread for a new beginning.

Re: HOME

Is that true, @Owlunar? You're doing a good job with the clip art.

Re: HOME

Yes, I am okay, @Owlunar, thanks for asking. How about you?

Just going through (another) meds change at the moment, day three dose has been taken this evening. Feels a bit weird but I think I'm okay.

Hi Maz

I have had some bad patches with anniversaries coming up but like you _ I have had a change in medication - these being blood pressure tablets and they have the affect of decreasing anxiety

Wow - talking about being in a good mood - may it last because I have had a few problems like everyone else

It's time I got off the computer so time I stopped - I do enjoy clip art though and glad when it's appreciated

Wow, they're amazing, @Faith-and-Hope. I especially like the peacock feather.

Night, @Owlunar, so glad you are feeling good and that the blood pressure meds help with anxiety.

Re: HOME

I think it’s a toss-up between the peacock feather and the cat @Mazarita 😄

Re: HOME

I was really into eye-shadow - so go eye-shadow

Actually I really couldn't see what I was doing when I was applying several different colours to match whatever I was wearing but then - I had to wear my glasses and that hid anything to far out

What a good idea - I could get some new palettes of eye-shadow - I am not that far past the Black Stump yet

Re: HOME

@Owlunar, I used to be into eye shadow when I was in my late teens, that was the height of it for me. I felt the need to wear it even to the beach at that time, lots of it, full eyeshadow and all. Then I went through a couple of years where I cut off all my hair into a really short, quite severe style, and swore off make-up. It was like a spiritual challenge to myself to accept myself 'au naturel'. After that I softened and wore it sometimes and not at others. Wasn't as anxious about it, so the challenge kind of worked. These days it's almost completely no make-up for me. I think I put on a very small amount to speak publicly a few months ago when I was down south. Other than that, I am barefaced.

I like looking at makeup on other people sometimes though, especially if it's done well, and especially when it looks like art, as do those ones that @Faith-and-Hope posted.

Yes go for it with the eyeshadow if you have the impulse. It's never too late to play!
