HOME

Well I'm finally home (again).
4 hospital stays in 91 days. Wow. No wonder it feels so strange to be in my own house again. Adjusting will take time. Cooking for myself will take time.
My house is in the same condition in which I left it. A pigsty. So no one room has warmth and charm to lift my mood. Will have to slowly start cleaning up - one room at a time.
I did go and watch my son play soccer in the finals. I'd been so sick this year - thst it was the first game I had been to all year. His team lost. But they play again next week. So still stand a chance of playing the grand final.
My son is still living with my mum. Has been since the end of April. Hopefully he will see how much I've improved on my new anti depressants and anti anxiety meds. Then he may choose to come home soon.
Was up and doing the washing early this morning. But now reading a book in bed.
Am very bored. But have AA Meeting tomorrow night.
And I have my WorkCover IME (independent Medical Examination) - psych interview with a tough psychiatric on the 30th of this month. Think it could be on Wednesday. And then I have my much waited for Psychologist appointment. Can't see him when I'm in hospital (too far away).
So that's it for now. A new thread for a new beginning.

Hi @Faith-and-Hope

I remember what you have already written about your Mr's ED and how it is affecting you and your children and it is really hard to understand though what you have written elsewhere explains things very well and I understand the position you have taken up and it can't be easy for anyone.

Now you talk about "stuckiness" and how you could change things but how badly it would affect your kids -

I always think of you - now I realised you have a thread and support in the carers' forum where I could learn more about your story and how "stuck" it all can get - but I have read the background already - I just like to give my support when I can - and always think of you and pray when I see pink flowers

All the best for you and your kids - I really wish that Mr would get a Dx but maybe things are working in his direction and it is all stuck because of whatever might happen if he worked out that he got it all wrong - it could be catastrophic

How you manage I don't know but I get it - and want to send messages when I can -

Lots of love and hope and prayers

@Owlunar. I think the colours people wear reflect them.
Dark colours / standard colours - conservative, don't want to stand out, a private person in public.
Bright underwear - passionate, confident.

I like what you said about dark and standard colours being those of a private person in public and bright uinderwear meaning being passionate and confident cause that pretty well sums it up for me and I had not thought of things that way.

So true

How are you these days? I think I read your son is back with your for now - I hope he is happy with that and that he is playing football with his mates

It has been tough for you having been in hospital so much with a teenage son who has had to stay with your Mum - I am really glad you Mum has been able to pick up the slack for you - and that it has been hard for your son too - let's hope you can both work through it has time passes - I think of you often

Re: HOME

Do you know how I figured out the meaning of the colours of clothing? @Owlunar. Because I wear a lot of blue and black out and about & I used to wear bright underwear. Lol. We are the same.
My son came home last year after about 8 months (can't remember exactly) at my mums house. He then stayed with mum for 3 weeks when I was in hospital this year. He came home the first day I arrived home & announced he's sick of living at my mums house. Lol.
He's been here ever since - except 2 nights when I wasn't coping. He hates being sent away.
But he has a girlfriend now and a job one night a week plus soccer training and game plus band, so his life is pretty full. Just got marks back for maths and business management. Low 70's for both. I'm not happy. When I asked why the score was so low - he said he didn't study! But it's cool coz it's still a pass. Aaarrrggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Putting all my linen back in the cupboard now that the mice plague has ended. Although there is still one sneaky mouse around the kitchen. But I will catch it.
Other than that, haven't done anything today.
What have you been up to?
