HOME

Well I'm finally home (again).
4 hospital stays in 91 days. Wow. No wonder it feels so strange to be in my own house again. Adjusting will take time. Cooking for myself will take time.
My house is in the same condition in which I left it. A pigsty. So no one room has warmth and charm to lift my mood. Will have to slowly start cleaning up - one room at a time.
I did go and watch my son play soccer in the finals. I'd been so sick this year - thst it was the first game I had been to all year. His team lost. But they play again next week. So still stand a chance of playing the grand final.
My son is still living with my mum. Has been since the end of April. Hopefully he will see how much I've improved on my new anti depressants and anti anxiety meds. Then he may choose to come home soon.
Was up and doing the washing early this morning. But now reading a book in bed.
Am very bored. But have AA Meeting tomorrow night.
And I have my WorkCover IME (independent Medical Examination) - psych interview with a tough psychiatric on the 30th of this month. Think it could be on Wednesday. And then I have my much waited for Psychologist appointment. Can't see him when I'm in hospital (too far away).
So that's it for now. A new thread for a new beginning.

Re: HOME

Definitely going to keep up my dress code however different @utopia

Sometimes we are able to maintain our standards however they might cause other people to stare

So - ah - come to think of it - maybe I will get some new trousers - but in the meantime - I have undies in bright colours - green, red, pink, blue

I tend to dress in dark colours but then - I had no idea anyone could see my underpants

But I like pretty undies - I do - I just like to wear sober colour - as my girls do

Re: HOME

Wear what you like and what you're comfortable in @Owlunar. I think a number of people who wear dark clothes have bright underwear on underneath.

Re: HOME

I think you might be right @utopia - I hope you are

Perhaps - I know I feel better in dark clothes - I nearly went crackers once when I was with someone else who was trying to get me to try the purple t-shirts, the orange ones - what about the green ones - ah

Black or any shade of blue - when I got home and looked in my cupboard there were my clothes - black or any shade of blue

But my undies - all sorts of colours and pretty bras - THAT'S where I express myself

Yes

Re: HOME

@Owlunar. I think the colours people wear reflect them.
Dark colours / standard colours - conservative, don't want to stand out, a private person in public.
Bright underwear - passionate, confident.

Re: HOME

A slow morning @BlueBay. Just how I like it. Then picked son and mate up from school and drove to the big town for soccer training. Only 2 other boys bothered to show up. So they did some training with the girls team.
Just got home.
Am about to eat Lean Cuisine for dinner. Son is having last nights leftovers.
What you been up to?

Re: HOME

I worked 10-2. Then my daughter and Ayla called in. So I got more cuddles and she fell asleep in my arms. Such a beautiful feeling just holding a sleeping bsby.
Now organising dinner with hubby. Fish and salad and veggies.
I've had terrible stomach pain today. So I'm using a heat pack and meds. Also feeling flat snd down.
Enjoy your dinner. I'll come back later on.

Re: HOME

Thanks @Bella1978. Pigs are beautiful
@BlueBay - Ayla falling asleep in your arms. Does it remind you of a dream you had about 18 months ago?
You are having the sensations and feelings in real life that you once had in that dream. Pretty amazing huh!
