365 Project

365 Project

I recently read about the 365 Project that was started by someone who was having difficulty with depression I think.. she took a photo everyday for a year of something that she was grateful for/enjoyed etc

I was wondering if we could do something like that on here, share a picture/ describe something... about something that we are grateful for each day with a little comment.. for instance

We had a great pre breakfast time building a tree house for the elephant complete with a water hole and pool! So grateful for fun times!

Mods... would this be ok?!?

@Former-Member I agree with you - I am very thankful that summer is finally creeping in!

..(and fluffy animal cuddles is always a bonus!!)

My conductor gave me a hug last night at rehearsal .. I only told him I was not well and a bit doped up .. He is giving me a strong message that he values my contribution. The boisterous lady who has been white anting and stonewalling me was not there.

I chatted with another oddbod at choir who is often teased and we talked about his essay on cultural issues and aboriginals in court, and a mum admitted her son was involved in the blackarm band movement, which was right up my alley. I am approaching things calmly with doses of little white pills.

Hey @Appleblossom. Nothing like a hug. Here's another virtual one for you from me. I haven't been reading all the posts but saw recently that you were struggling. Glad to hear you are approaching things calmly. Me too.

Today I am grateful for my mum. Despite the tumultuous history we have and the physical distance between us, I love her. It's her 80th birthday today.

Not the greatest photo, but the weather was so beautiful... I think i may even have gotten a little sun burnt but definitely was worth it! kids had a ball, they convinced me that it wasnt too cold for them to paddle their feet (of course that ended up with two dripping wet, top to tail, children with massive grins (wish i could post that picture lol). but they had a ball, and seeing them happy made me feel pretty good too!

Bring on summer!!!

Re: 365 Project

A shawled hug is such a beautiful comforting idea...thank you so much @PeppiPatty. Say hello to Arlo from me.

A cuppa with the girls would be great @Former-Member... and anyone else who wants to join in.

I was just curled up with our cats and watching Community and music utubes with son...unwinding from day in the city. I had my French concert today. I got through it. I drove and went ok.. I waited til after to take my little pills as I needed concentration and didnt want to be woozy. It went ok ... not 100% but adequate. It was very challenging music but interesting for me to work on for 4 months. I'm a "its the journey not just the destination" person.

Re: 365 Project

I'm in for a cuppa too. Congrats on the achievement with a challenging music project, @Appleblossom. I've been looking for real life groups, researching, but haven't actually gone to anything as yet. Wrote an email about a local community choir I found on the net but haven't heard back so I don't think it is still in existence. Waiting to hear from my physio later this week about whether it's okay with my leg probs to do tai chi. There's a free one in a local park. I've heard it can be friendly.
