I am supposed to be seeing my psychologist soon and i am scared to talk to him normally i am honest but this time i feel like i cant be and if he asks then i dont know how to not tell him. i just have messed things up completely. should i be honest? should i keep it a seceret? what would he likely do if he heard the following?
the thing i dont want to tell him is that i am psychic and there are evil spirits who are trying to steal my sould also i am an angel...... if i did tell him this what would he do?
Hi @Eden1919. I can definitely understand why you might feel worried about sharing what's happening for you with your psychologist. I get scared sharing things with the people who I work with sometimes too.
When I am feeling like this I try to remember that the reason I am working with these people is to try and help sort out my life so I can be back where I want to be which is living the healthy, meaningful, fulfilling life I deserve.
I don't know what your psych will do, and I am not sure anyone except your psych can actually answer that for you. I would hope that what your psychologist would do would be to listen to what you are experiencing, learn more about how it effects you, and work with you to manage it, though.
It's brave to share things that feel scary with others. I hope that whatever you decide to do works well for you.

Re: Scared to talk to my psychologist
@Eden1919 Worrying about things that are happening in the future is something I do a lot of. You mentioned that you're due to see your psychologist 'soon', and I am guessing that soon isn't tonight (because of the time of night now). If that is the case, is it possible for you to look at what is around you and where you are right now, and try to focus on that?
I remember one night not too long ago, I posted that I was worried about everything I needed to 'do' and think about that was coming up, and someone helped me by reminding me that really all I needed to do and think about at that time was getting through the night. For me that meant doing not much else aside from snuggling into my blanket and trying to get myself calm enough to sleep for the night. It's hard, but sometimes the most important thing to do is to think about what is happening now, not ehat is coming up.

@CheerBear I guess maybe i could try and not think about it so much but it is just really hard to get stuff out of my head.

Re: Scared to talk to my psychologist
It can be so hard to do @Eden1919. Sometimes it helps me to put other things in my head, rather than just try not to think about something. Things like feeling how soft my blanket or my cat is, paying attention to the smells around me, counting the stitches on a blanket I am making, listening to the sound a pencil makes while I am colouring in. Those things can help take my thoughts away from worries and get me calm enough to go to bed.
Speaking of, I am heading there now and taking my cats and my blanket with me. I hope things settle for you tonight 🙂

Re: Scared to talk to my psychologist
Hi @outlander I managed to tell him most of what is going on but not everything and he aksed if i thought i could be manic again.... i said i didnt know i mean i dont feel depressed i feel very angry and stressed but not depressed and i dont exactly feel super good either not like the last time anyway. i feel confident though like i can do anything and powerful and at the same time though the other spirits are telling me to be careful because there are evil spirits trying to get me and i dont know i can just feel everything like everything and it is all so intense and i have all these ideas and thoughts going through my head and i mean i am not sleeping really but i am not tired so it is ok but i just i have so much to do and i have this massive job to do for God and i um it is complicated but either way i am sure i can do this i can feel it like i am sure i just know and it is so hard to explain. anyway i dont know.
