Re: not coping

No extra sleep this morning @outlander. It just didn't happen.

Mr A is outside now, so it might be a good time to vacuum. And my support worker will be here so I have to get out of my pj's. We'll probably take a small walk to the take away cafe and get a decent coffee.

How are you today? Did you get any sleep yourself?

@outlander 💖 Hello my friend

Re: not coping

that's abit of a bugger @Sans911
a walk to get a decent coffee sounds like a good idea! I hope your support worker will be helpful as well if you need to talk about anything.

I got abit of sleep. im still very tired though. I keep getting dizzy spells

I know I shouldn't be getting frustrated at pop but his repetition, inability to do some simple things and forgetfulness is getting to me abit today. I have to take him to the drs for immunisation upgrades and to get a blood test refferral in another hour or so but will be careful driving. I have to get them to change the number to my phone because he was on the phone about an hour ago and he doesn't remember what he was suppose to be doing (I already know thankfully) im trying not to get frustrated but im not being overly successful and if I ignore him or give a basic answer he thinks im yelling at him and then he rings my mother

im out of the milk I can have since last night so haven't even had a cup of tea today, I cant even send pop up because he doesn't understand and will just get the milk he drinks (which I cant drink even before trying lactose free) so ill have to get that while im out as well
and the horses but ill probably skip that today
and the kids for a few hours...
and I think my mother is coming over here to do exactly what I asked her not to do as well so feeling abit 'meh'

You are doing a fantastic thing with your pop @outlander , I work in aged care and let me tell you that there are very few family members supporting their loved ones the way you do and they a healthy and whole!! I understand your frustration and please don't be too hard on yourself you really are doing the best you can. Sending you gentle hugs my friend

Re: not coping

Oh @outlander frustrations all around you. Hopefully you get a little break later today and some time to breath. My support work has just left. It was good to talk to him.

I'm just about to hang out some washing. I'd like to change my sheets and finish the vacuuming but not sure if I have energy for all that. See how it goes.
