Re: not coping

Lol @Snowie sounds peaceful at your house atm. Prob not for to much longer now though when the kids are up. 😬

I have horses and kids and need to ring the tyre place to get my 2 new tyres put on. Other then that not much.

What about you? Id suspect packing is on the cards if you havent already done it...

Just packing today and probably a bit more cleaning.

Re: not coping

Its only 3 today @Snowie im not doing our horses. One day wont hurt them. One takes 5 minutes to do and the other 2 are abit funny. Like sometimes kick or bite so i just do them but they dont take long to do. This is the kids last day of school for this term too.

Cleaning doesnt seem to stop does it :face_with_rolling_eyes: i have cleaning to do too but i cant really be bothered lol

Re: not coping

I didn't realise they were still at school @outlander

Hoping you don't have them lots during the school holdiays, you have enough to deal with.

I can't be bothered doing it but I don't want to return to a messy house so would rather I do it before I go away instead of when I come back. I have been doing some each day so haven't got lots to do.

Re: not coping

Yeah today's the last day @Snowie it went pretty quickly this term tbh. The holidays mum seems to be working more often then not but she has arranged a few things with them but it also depends on how my sister goes with thr job interview. She will find out today if she got it or not. Hope fully she does. She has a small job that she likes but she's alsp getting on in age and realising that 30 for the entire day isnt really keeping up with life. Its good as abit of extra side money which is why i do it sometimes but its more suited to the younger teens that dont have cars etc. She has been there for 5 or 6 yrs now so she doesnt really want to leave but she said she will still do it when she has time but proper paying job and school atm are more her priorities.

Ah yeah i dont like returning to a messy house either but with pop often staying here when im gone overnight its generally a big mess when i get back anyway 🤦‍♀️

Re: not coping

Hoping she gets the job @outlander Glad your mum has arranged for them to do a few things. My D is counting down until she can get a part time job, which isn't too far away. Good way for them to learn the value of money.

If your pop is anything like H, then they are good at making a mess and not cleaning it up!!

Re: not coping

we have a friend who has their own bussiness with horses so she started early around 13ish rather then 14 and 9 months or whatever the age is these days.

i think some of the things she arranged though lands on the days she works so guess who is more then likely going to have to take them 🤦‍♀️

pop is a grub honestly. i clean one room and then start the next and by the time im finished that room the others already dirty. the bathroom and the kitchen are the worst esp since he constantly spits in the sink. its disgusting and it doesnt matter how many times i say not to (even left sticky notes saying that) he just doesnt.
