not coping

I'm sorry it has been a tough week for you @Faith-and-Hope I am hoping with time comes healing. When disputes happen it certainly shows some peoples true colours. Hoping you have support around you hon, we cannot go through these tough times alone.

Hiya @Snowie are you having a slow Saturday? I hosted an online meeting to make scones this morning. There was only four of us. My scones were ok, but a bit tough as I ran out of flour (needed an extra half a cup). I gave most to a couple of my neighbours. Then I sat outside with next door neighbour and took Mr A out. Mr A knocked over the small table (his lead got wrapped around the legs) with my best Jamie Oliver casserole dish holding the scones! It smashed to peices. He has been so unsettled and annoying. He meows so much. I am finding it quite stressful. And next door neighbour was also being annoying. So I am back inside now. Mr A is sleeping on top of the sofa. I am resting on the bed.

Oh @Sans911 sorry to hear about your dish. Mr A must be unsettled. Hope your resting is restful! 😉

How did you sleep last night?

I am having a slow Saturday @Sans911 @Faith-and-Hope Did some washing and started cleaning up the study.

Dog is asleep next to me so just laying on the couch watching some tv. Trying to get my butt into gear to do some more tidying up but nah, not happening!

Really need a shower 😒

I went to sleep a lot quicker than I have done before @Snowie and probably slept a little better but Mr A woke me about 4am, and again around 8 or so. He had been fed at 5.

I am just looking for a replacement dish now, and looking at some poetry sites as well. There are a couple of competitions coming up, and I have been a little inspired to write some poetry recently. I haven't writtten anything for a very long time.

I know you are probably exhausted, but why don't you have a pamper shower? Have you got any face masks, hair treaments? That you can stop and have a rest while the treatments do their work. It's sometimes what I do. And often once you are all done it feels really nice.

Our fur babies are grrr sometimes, like to sleep during the day and keep us awake at night 😒

Entering some poetry competitions sounds like a good idea hun. The poetry I have read of yours has been wonderful hun. I am glad you have been inspired to write some.
