Something’s not right

im not coping

i cant handle all of these things

besides my mental health deteriorating so dramatically, and my physicall health floating up the creek

and now within the past few hours

my great grandmother now is in a nursing home and they dont know how long she has left and to make thigns worse i think i have to put my beleoved horse down.

we just had vets out and spend the last 4 hours trying to save my horse. its been 2 hours and went back to check on her and its not looking good.

not good at all 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞 😞

i dont know what to do or how to feel, im a complete mess 😞

i wont be around much for the next few weeks. i have to have another 2 surgeries and my pain treatments across the next month so i may not be online as much.

@tyme i did see you ask somewhere about the moonboot. i still have the moonboot, i actually have to go back in for surgery tomorrow as int he latest xray there are some bone fragments that need to come out but thankfully its not a major surgery but will mean alittle longer in the moonboot but for the next 3 weeks ill be in for my pain therapies anyway so ill be able to rest and heal it without walking to much
then have a bladder operation the following week after im home so its a big few weeks for me

for some reason i cant log in through my phone but hopefully my ipad will let me.
im feeling pretty nervous tonight. i leave home at 7am tomorrow

Its natural to be nervous when going into hospital but be assured we do have a good health system despite a few flaws. It’s one of the best in the world.

i dont normally go to this hospital so itll be a new experience for me but i spoken with the specialists across the last few weeks to organise everything and theyve been lovely.
the nurse i spoke to on friday to go over everything was also lovely so makes me feel better.
i decided to take my support worker with me too at least for tomorrow. i hardly have her but i think if theres a time ill need her itll be tomorrow!

Im glad the specialists and nurse have been helpful as that must boost your confidence. 💜

Ohh @outlander, thanks for letting us know, you are probably already at the hospital. I do hope the nurses are good and the surgery is simple and effective. It’s sad you actually so familiar with hospitals as a young person. You have resilience and your stoicism is a credit to you. Sending gentle warm thoughts…
