Re: not coping

It's okay to be tired after dealing with so much, sometimes it can be helpful to put it down for a few minutes and try do something that can take your mind off of the chaos @outlander

Is there something that might be good for you to do tonight that could take your mind off of today for a couple minutes?

I always like to envision that I can pick my problems back up afterwards, but I am just going to set them down for 5 minutes to do a meditation/ breathing/ watch something/ read/ cook etc.

I hope that might be helpful for you too

Re: not coping

Hi hon @outlander

I'm glad you got some answers but at the same time I'm sorry that you got another diagnosis.

It must be hard to deal with so much at the moment.

Around for a bit if you need a chat/sit

Re: not coping

It certainly isn't whinging @outlander you have a very valid reason. Sometimes it is good to 'get it out' too. Sometimes that can help.

Re: not coping

im watching a comedy at the moment. i feel like ive been drinking but i havent. apparently it does happen with this condition when the fatigue and stuff flares up or ive been overly drained esp emotionally. @Snowie i think ill be in bed early. just passing time till dinner gets here for pop. ill have a shower soon and then probbaly be in bed soon

Re: not coping

Not cooking sounds like a good idea @outlander We just had a lasagna I brought from the supermarket. Just had to heat it up!!

An early nights sleep might be beneficial for you hon. You have been through a lot today and that affects us mentally and physically.

Re: not coping

pop is super picky so i hate cooking @Snowie

ive been going to bed pretty early lately but my pain levels esp in my stomach have been keeping me up. another symptom of this condition apparently during a flare

Re: not coping

I'm lucky that my family are not picky. I can serve them almost anything and they will eat it.

I'm sorry you are getting pain flare ups @outlander They must be hard to deal with.

Re: not coping

lucky you @Snowie i wish i could do that! the clients i work with are like that in most ways they arent fussy.
pop on the other hand seesh the old timers stuff def comes out back to the way they lived when he was younger like growing up with alot of fish and chips and stuff out of tins. he actually chose salad sandwiches tonight so thats good.

pain flares are hard. they are becoming more frequent but i once i go back for medical treatment i really hope it settles it back down for at least 6 months again
