Re: not coping

You do not need to offer people money to do their job @outlander

Re: not coping

I’m majoring in exercise and nutrition and it will lead to a degree in health science. This semester’s assignment is about smoking. I’m doing it to help me in coaching my athletes but hope to get funded to do the course @outlander

Re: not coping

I hope work went ok for you hon @outlander

Saw my psych today. Appointment went ok, was able to tell her what has been going on for the last few weeks. Was hard to talk to her but got through it. Now just relaxing with the dog.

Got to cook tea soon.

Re: not coping

@Snowie im glad you were able to speak to your psychologist.
relaxing with the dog sounds nice. im sure she enjoys your company and being spoilt

Re: not coping

I always find it hard to talk to her @outlander but I find it hard to open up to anyone. I am not the chatty type, very quiet in real life.

Opening up to her is a work in progress, has taken me quite awhile to feel comfortable with her.

The dog just loves company. Doesn't like being left alone and will sit/sleep practically on top of you!!

How is your bearded dragon going?

Re: not coping

it can be hard to open up to people @Snowie i feel im much the same in that regard. takes me a while to feel comfortable with people too.

yep our dog is like that too. shes so spoilt. she even comes on holidays with us too.

my bearded dragon is going good. his colour has become more prominent, hes gained weight to where its reccomended for him and hes gotten super comfortable here. he has a hammock and is his favourite spot to sit on. gives him a good view of the room. hes seems quite intrigued by alot of things too like when he hears different noises or when im talking to him he like turns his side from side to side like a dog does when theyre listening too. its really cute

Re: not coping

Glad to hear that he is going well @outlander Sounds like he is very comfortable in your home now.

Our dog goes everywhere with us too except for the snow. She is not allowed up there since it is a national park and only dogs with permits are allowed up there. She normally stays with my mum when we go away.

D has decided to cook tea tonight, won't say no to that!! Saves me doing it.

Thought I might try and stay up and watch the funeral for the Queen tonight. Not sure how long I will last however. At least I don't have to get up early, kids are on school holidays this week and next.

Re: not coping

hes been pretty comfortable with me for a while. ive had some past interactions with him over the few weeks before i got him so it wouldnt be as stresful moving to a new home and having a new owner too. he settled in quite quickly though and started showing all his usual habits including eating alot more then before after 2 days. his breeders are really impressed with his health so i feel like im doing something right!

ah yes, no animals are allowed in the national parks. at least she stays with your mum though and doesnt have to stay in a kennel or somewhere strange.

i was going to watch the funeral but im going to skip it. the person staying with us literally talks about all the royals non stop and is opinionated about everything so it gets annoying.

oh good girl D, nice that she cooks sometimes too
