Re: not coping

i dont really understand why everytime i reach survival mode or i struggle everyone tells me to basically stop everything i do like the horses or caring for pop. so many people just keep telling me to get a real job. i do also have a 'real' job i work 5 10 hour shifts sometimes more a fortnight and its not really something i enjoy either/ dont know what getting a real job was suppose to do but anyway. i guess thats why ive stopped talking to people. seems like the same responses come from everyone.

Re: not coping

@outlander I'm sorry to hear that you are going through so much at the moment.

Looking after your Pop is a full time job hon. Unfortunately people don't see this. And on top of that you have another job too.

Here with you and for you sis 💜

Re: not coping

I know theyre only trying to help and most know i dont really want to be pops carer much longer. But its hard. I cant just up and leave. Most suggest a job and then leave pop with someone else.

Re: not coping

I can understand you just don't want to up and leave your Pop by himself @outlander I also doubt that they know exactly what you do every day for him. It must be hard being a carer and then working a full time job on top of that. There is a lot of pressure on you to continue looking after your Pop too no doubt.

Re: not coping

I tried finding someone part time to take over here but no one can even handle him longer then 3 days before theyre shoving him back at me. I know they mean well and only want the best, theyve thought more about my future then i have tbh like regular income, working for companies for references sick leave etc and super as well @Snowie
