Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

How is everyone going this morning? It's beautiful and brisk here at the moment... should warm-up later on... I've been invited to a bbq today, at an old friends place, but I'm a bit hesitant because there may be beers and wine there, and alcohol don't mix well with me, plus I don't want to have to deal with my social awkwardness all over again for possibly a few hours...

And also, within 5-10 minutes of waking up, i start thinking, something ain't right here... I'm hobbling like an old man, I'm overweight; my feet are sore, my body is aching, my mind is foggy, and hitting the mokes and offee straight away, I've contemplated what 'I'd like to be getting on with ' and I've thought... i really don't feel up to it!...

Then it's a case of reaching out to someone...... yea i blame the mhs for myself being in this condition... on one hand they're are supposed to help and fix this stuff and on the other... they are causing it... I have got a great deal of resentment and animosity towards the mhs...

And plus. I've slept in this morning and I've missed the Christians mens breakfast... oh well... i was also meant to give someone a ride... that's life...

Another thing i would like to say... there's a big difference between mental health and religion... they should always be kept totally separated!... because God and Jesus ain't coming to fix my mental health issues...nor is anyone who has religious training, or thinks they're doing the work of God, or thinks they walking in the footsteps of Jesus. (I've found it's a case of feeding them).. if anything it creates this dilemma of who is right and who is wrong... reward for right behaviour, punishment for wrong behaviour... in my opinon religion preys on the weaknesses, vulnerabilities and suffering of so many people... and unless you turn around and do exactly that to other people... religion ain't going to work well for you... this happens by people who think they doing the work of God, and walking in the footsteps of Jesus... *i've literally seen it with my own eyes... and they don't like it WHEN you give them a taste of their own medicine... or you turn around and say i don't like this any more, i want it to stop... because they think they 100% right...

Good morning @eudemonism@utopia@TAB@MDT@Bunniekins

A lovely day here too...

I think that I shall just potter in the garden in my own time today....resting in between..

there is something very calming about watering a garden...

although the plants stand up to attention when they are watered with real water....rain...

might read my library book later as a form of relaxing...

bbq...does it help if you take your own drink with you Eude? That is what I do...

I know that those who drink frequently sometimes put pressure on...

If you enjoy their company get there early and leave early before they become too intoxicated...

Adapt the event to suit your needs at the same time socialising for a while...

hope all of you do something that you enjoy

Morning Eude @eudemonism

Hope your day is a good one. I feel a bit groggy this morning even after my morning hit of coffee.
But I think it will pass. I have a social thing tonight for someone who is going back home. So I know what you mean about alcohol. I find it can either be fine with no problems, or can really pull me down into a spiral of depression. After all, alcohol is a depressant. Most people forget that - it doesnt' actually give us anything, but sheds our inhibition.

I think I will listen to a bit of music today. That might lift my spirits.

I'm not too sure what to say about religion and god there Eude. But I think I see what you are saying about corrective behaviour techniques and such that people in religious groups try to use. IT does do damanage
