Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@MDT there would surely have to be some eligible ladies at the gym haha? And if not... Maybe some Poland ladies would love to meet you? 😊

I think about doing stuff ALL the TIME/everyday. but i rarely get around to doing ANY of it... -basically because of lack of confidence, energy, motivation, not justifying the costs vs benefits...
stuff like visiting people (family and friends), walking the dog, going to the beech, going fishing, doing some gardening, photography, music, attending groups/appointments, cleaning the house, ecetra...
Plus there is goals which involve finances and money... a gaming console, a stereo, basic gym equipment, a new terrarium, a towbar, roof racks and bullbar & spot lights for my car...
Plus all the stuff which promotes good mental health and all the stuff which demotes good mental health...
-i find it's easier just to do nothing at all somedays...

HA @eudemonism there are always eligible ladies at the gym, although I don't really look the part at a gym haha. Maybe Australians are popular in Poland? who knows lol.

Yes I hear what you are saying though. I find the same is true for me too. I make one golden rule though. So long as what I am doing doesn't demote good mental health then it is okay. That doesn't mean it has to improve my mental health. Just so long as it doesn't worsen it. Usually days at home, away from the world are good for that. Or days away from home are good too. It fluctuates in accordance with whatever is going on at that time.
Lately I have been balanced between home and out of home. Though with a preference for home. I find other people tend to exhaust me lately.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Yep @MDT definitely hearing you... -I've been through several major phases / stages of life... when i reflect back upon all of them-i now realise it was all driven by my illness and issues which formed inside of my mind-in the early stages of my life & which were all caused by the people and the world around me... ironic really??? So it leaves me with this question...-What options do i really have in life??? WHEN My entire existence and everything i need to survive; is based around society expecting me to BE mentally well... it's kind of like them saying... WELL if you cannot BE this... we're going to TURN you into that... and you're going to have no other options... 😊

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@eudemonism Hi Eude my pdoc keeps me on the straight and narrow. Without her input and the medications she perscribes me I would be out of control. That is why I keep going back because without her things would be so much worse than what they are now.
