Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Bunniekins i get tired of sitting around home all day. I'm tired of dealing with the side effects-they literally disable me in their own right. I'm tired of being faced with the problems I'm dealing with and not being able to do anything about them, and then turning to people, because I'm looking for help, and having them feed from my suffering. -especially professionals-because my main problem is side effects-and they are the ones giving me the drugs...

@eudemonism I hear what you say about the side effects they are truly awful .... I don't have an answer except for @Dadcaringalone who in the midst of his despair always says 'to keep on trucking'. I think he is right. It is a dreadful loop we are on but we cannot give up because we are way to strong for that so we keep going however tough it gets.

@Bunniekinsthat's what I'll most likely do. But oh geez. I tell you what. It gets really bad sometimes. The monotony of the underlying illness and the side effects is terrible. You know. Stress. Depression. Anxiety. Bordom. Being alone. It's hard to deal with.

hello @eudemonism

nice to have lunch brought around to your place....

visits from others often inspire us to do a quick tidy up if needed..

as for finding family draining...I do as well...

as for other people...

there are few people these days whose company I can enjoy for too long..

I think that is a reality...nothing to do with having unwell minds...

@eudemonism I know .... it is the pits actually and I am so much older than you and it drives me crazy so I can appreciate where you are coming from. It is just bloody unfair, a up hill struggle but you cannot give up Eude because you have so much to give you have to keep on trying.

On the subject of being alone have you thought about trying online dating? You talk really well online, I am sure that there would be alot of ladies who would be interested in talking to your regularly which could lead onto dating perhaps. Just an idea.

@eudemonism

I think Eude that you will find the majority of people feel the same way..

also some of those who say otherwise are the ones who do all of the talking...mainly about themselves of course...and are not good at listening...

so I would remove relationships off of the mhi list...
