Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

WOW You have been busy! @eudemonism

I have been to osteo, made dinner and eating it early as I am going out to sing tonight.

Yes also juggling a lot of inner turmoil while I go about my day.

SOme of it was sorted by having a conversation with my son and realising he was happier that I was out and about as he had house to himself.

Also spoke with Local Area Coordinator re NDIS.

Cheers Apple

and a spec of gardening

ts Life.

Ok @Zoe7 my thoughts and prayers are with you. Is there something small you can do for yourself which may help?

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Thanks for your concern @eudemonism just going to let today wash over me and get through it - putting it down to one of those days where life is less than ideal but tomorrow is another day. Sometimes that is what we need to do to get by.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Yeah I know you know all about those days @eudemonism More than half the day is gone and just the evening to get through. I have DBT and GP appointment tomorrow so need to be up and about for them. An early night is definitely on the cards for me tonight. What are your plans for this evening?

Sounds like a plan @eudemonism I have to try to put a few things away but other than that will maybe watch a little tv and then hopefully get to sleep early.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@eudemonism Hi Edue sorry you aren't feeling great with illness and side effects. It is not fair. Is there anyone professional you can talk to about this? Like your pdoc?

Your day sounds very constructive with alot done though but also with quiet moments at the sea with your dog (how lovely :)). Good luck with the ndis. I hope that all goes well for you.

Eude I was talking with @Mazarita about my feelings of guilt as I have a not to glamerous past either .... and she gave me a hint. She said to put your hand on your heart and say 'I forgive you'. These simple words are so strong I feel. It has been working for me and maybe will work for you. I hope they do.

I went to my son's pdoc today and he really is quite mad you know (my son that is). We are trying to subtlely change his medications just a bit to help him lose a bit of weight and be less lethargic. However the doc said we have to be very careful in doing so as my son was quite aggressive 8 years ago now when his schizophrenia was first diagnosed and he was afterwards properly medicated and is now calm.

Talk to you soon Eude. greenpea xxx

Yea ok @Zoe7 i can't really say much about other people having bad days. As i don't know what it's like for them. I only know what it's like for me.
I can get really down WHEN I'm having a bad day...
