Coming to terms with reality

Coming to terms with reality

Hi Readers, i am suffering from "mental health issues" and it is an ongoing, daily battle. I am pretty much constantly wrestling with the thoughts going on in my mind. And my psychical life seems too be suffering for it. (There is a huge difference between physical and mental ) something is definitely not right! So each day I'm waking up and going about my routine. And over the last few days, weeks and months. I have been noticing changes in my mentality toward myself, others and life. And some questions such as, what is my life about? And what should my objectives be? Have arisen... of course like we all are, I'm subject too making decisions... and there has been the same options in front of me time and time again for months on end. And it becomes rather draining and mundane. And i feel myself going around in circles like something simple just ain't connecting.

I enjoy writing, art, music. And peace of mind... walking, reading, meditation. Taking care of myself. Socialising. Etcetera. Getting ahead, getting in front. Planning, dreaming and so on. And do my best to look after myself. While accepting that it can only ever be so much.

But there just something not quite right. And I'm suffering for it on a daily basis. And I'm tired and fed up with going through the same stuff everyday. And in all honesty. Alot of my suffering comes from prospective and thought processes.

Does anyone wanna talk with me about some things that might help? In particular dealing with people no matter who they are. Can be very stressful and cause lots of procrastinating about pros and cons. In particularly people who i think about reaching out to for support. Because of dilemmas dramas and social dynamics. And picking up on things that "aint really happening" "gut feelings type of stuff " "intuition" that type of thing. And enjoying time with people is great! I just tend to be overly preoccupied with symptoms to be worried about socialising sometimes "Symptoms which involves others"

@eudemonism

I am glad you had company. Hope it is good. Maturity and immaturity are so easy to flip between. We all have vulnerability and strength. When we have been down for a while it can be hard to take charge and move with our strengths, but it can happen.

@Sophia1 Sorry to hear about your son, but I have the feeling he is stuck in that communicating style for a while. Distancing and reaching out ebb & flow through all relationships. I also would take on abuse as if it was my destiny. I am surprised when people are cheerful, kind and pleasant or have fun with me. I am glad to say, it happens more and more these days. Kind of keeps me optimistic.

So I try and share that. @TAB @Former-Member @Shaz51 Hope you ALL travel well.

@eudemonismxo 🙂

Thank you very much, for your Love, & Care towards me!

I am so relieved that you are safe, & back on track. I am trying to recover from a nasty Virus, & Seasonal Allergic reaction, to just about everything, atm. 😞

Yes, I am on a big block of land, renting a small 3 bedroom, Government House. I need the big back, & front yards, for my 4 dogs. My cats live in the house with Ruby, & myself. Ruby has the run of the front yard which is much smaller than the back yard, yet, Ruby only spends part time out in the yard, & lives with me in the house. Ruby is house trained & very obedient, & she guards me extremely well.

I have done a fair bit of lite gardnening, until my Operation, I don't do hardly any now, as I'm warn out most days, from pain, emotional stress, & house work, when I can do it.

I'm not sure why I am telling you all of this? As I haven't scrolled back, to see if I answered your questions correctly?

Love & Hugs!

Bella XO 🙂

Nah thats alright @TAB Thanks

I know I was much more long winded when I first posted on the forum. Had a lot of pain that I had to get out.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

All good @TAB

Seems its part getting it out in right way .. in right circle ... and

Sticking at the same scene.

I had so much change I never felt settled anywhere, but I do feel better.

I have friends on here and some in real life. It takes a long time, but worth perservering.

Glad you and @plasmo still talk and gradually more people on the forum connect here and there.

Gotta go

Take Care ALL

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

@Sophia1 just think about the single life when things get overwhelming. Struggling to be social. Struggling to put good food on the table. Always feeling isolated.

Re: Sharing the wisdom within

Yea @TAB times are tough here. Always struggling to take proper care of myself. Never really succeeding or getting ahead.
