I haven’t tried abstract work @outlander, but it’s something I want to have a go at sometime.

Working out what is driving you starts by getting curious about your feelings .... what sort of feelings are they ?

Happy ? That’s lovely .... you’re enjoying what you are doing ....

Angry ? Why are you angry ? What has happened that has upset you ?

Irritated ? Why ? What are you trying to get done and what is stopping that from happening.

Think this might be part of what CBT is about.

I like playing around with abstract styles ive done 3 and just kinda played around with them and watched them change as each colour blended. Someone showed me something on fb and they are called one brush flowers. Ill see if i can find a youtube clip and put it on the art threads. Its 2 tone flowers on ine brush at the same time. Really interesting to watch..

Thanks for explaining that. It makes more sense now in an everyday situation

From vague memory cbt was about feelings vs what is happening @Faith-and-Hope then highlighting situations that are bad and doing exposure in non threatening environments
