Anyone feel like chatting?

Hi @Shaz51, I love drawing manga style art. I've drawn a fair few, however, I gave them away without taking pictures of them. I am working on one at the moment but have lost my art mojo at the moment. I think it is because of the cold (my studio is under my house and it is cold down there).

Hopefully @outlander, I'll hear from my psychiatrist's locum tomorrow. I'll have to come clean about my reasons for stopping one of my meds. It causes a lot of weight gain and I've only lost weight since I stopped taking it. I read somewhere on another forum that people on that particular medication can expect to live 15-20 years less than their counterparts due to the effects of weight gain (heart disease, diabetes, liver issues etc). I was stunned and immediately stopped taking it, although it does help with the symptoms of the schizophrenic side of things. Argh! Why can't I just be normal??

@Queenie my medcations are shocking for weight gain. my psychiatrist took a look at me the other day and told me i was putting on weight- ive only lost 2kg in 4 weeks and its alot of friggin ahrd work and healthy eating, hardly any sugar etc. im doing all the right things for weight loss but its not budging!

these medications are seriously shocking. i might be increasing them. im afriad what will happen if i go off them but i dont know if i cant keep increasing the dosage if this is only halfway to the maximum dose and its already affecting me.

i dont know. its a choice of either being fat or being crazy isnt it- stupid things

The weight gain is terrible @outlander! I want to lose the weight badly, but it just isn't budging either. I'm really watching what I eat and only have no sugar or low sugar/no fat or low-fat foods and am exercising like mad, but only shifted a measly 6kg in total (and that's probably only because I've stopped taking that medication). It's a horrible choice to make... fat and sane or thin and crazy.

yep its pretty shocking isnt it @Queenie at this point in time i hope my meds take more than 15 years off me. im over it all and jsut want to be normal
