Hi @outlander. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello before I head off to bed. I am not feeling well mentally and thought I'd go to bed early.

@outlander
He does work hard and does not deserve that sort of thing happen. He is responsible enough to get it all sorted out and not worry too much.

And I bet him grabbing that food gave you a nice warm feeling inside @lovemyboys knowing that later in the week he will be enjoying your cooking. My daughter is at her boyfriend's place again. They have family dinners on Sunday nights. My son lives with his father. Just turned out that way through yucky circumstances.

I would love to have my kids and I together again. Just grateful when we can share a meal together which is pretty rare these days with all their commitments and socialising.

@soul Yes, i was slightly annoyed to find my husband and I no longer had lunch prepared for the coming days but i'm hoping his enjoy his food, must miss my home cooked meals, they probably live on two minute noodles in that house.

My boys father lives interstate, but we don't talk to him. I get you with the yucky circumstances bit.

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

Haven't spoken to my ex-husband for a very long time either @lovemyboys It was a bit of a messy divorce and I got ripped off badly. Let me just tell you that he sells used cars and you can make up your own mind about his integrity.

Every night as we sat down to dinner, my son would thank me for cooking. It was so sweet. Now he cooks for himself. Think he has a repertoire of three things. Fortunately he didn't inherit any of his father's bad character traits. It would be much easier living with him than my daughter. They both lived in the family home whilst I was overseas but my ex made life really difficult for my daughter (she saw him for what he was and called him out for it which he didn't appreciate)

Anyway, it is what it is and I dare say that eventually they will both be totally independent and off somewhere.
