@Phoenix_Rising The couch pose is the one for me this week, the dog pose is too hard for these OLD knees.

Have you heard of Shanina Noll? She has some great relaxing music.

I just might be top of the class this week!!!! No I'm not competitive ...

Good evening all,

I am just home from my yoga class. I really had to drag myself there because I still have this darn cold. However, I feel SO much better for having gone. This yoga gig definitely helps puddled brains!

@TheVorticon Our teacher is constantly making the point that it is totally fine to not be able to do the various poses. Just having a go is super cool.

@Ant7I'm glad you have...er...downed today. I have been waiting with much interest (and just a tiny bit of trepidation) to hear how you were going to report in.

@Faith-and-Hope I am pleased to hear you will be abstaining from phone-treeing or tree-phoning. You can put your phone down for a few minutes @Faith-and-Hope, I just know you can.

@Maggie I am super excited at the thought of you excelling at the couch pose this week. I hadn't heard of Shaina Noll, but I now have her music playing via youtube. Thank you so much for sharing that with me.

Ok, well I look forward to hearing how everyone goes with their yoga-ing this week (see what I did there @Ant7 - just avoiding the issue entirely. ).

You wouldn't believe it Yoga Friends. I go to class today and we didn't do a single downward dog pose. It was a very crowded session nad we had to squash up a bit. And they used fake candles tonight as well. I know because I got there a bit later than usual and had to set up down the front. They must only use the real ones on Friday night @Phoenix_Rising.

So, when I got home I did my own downward dog. I also went out tonight and bought my own yoga mat as I was using my daughter's one. A lovely one with a pretty print - $10 from KMart - what a bargain.

How long are you all holding the pose for?

Good on you @Phoenix_Rising for going to yoga even when you didn't really feel like it.
